Mission San Luis Rey Parish

and multicultural population in the San Luis Rey Valley of

Oceanside, California. Staffed by Franciscan priests and brothers

of the Order of Friars Minor (OFM) of Santa Barbara

Like his original followers, Franciscans today are called to be persons of prayer

involved in a variety of ministries. A Community of Franciscan Friars call the

Old Mission home with some working in the Parish, the Old Mission, the Franciscan School of Theology and the Cemetery,

while others are retired.

Family Prayer for the Year of FaithO God our Father, by the light of the Holy Spirit, lead us to

be thankful for the gift of faith, and by that gift may we grow in our relationship with

Jesus, your Son, and be confident witnesses to Christian hope and joy

to all we meet. We ask this in the name of

Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
