About the Public Arts Commission

The Hutchinson Public Arts Commission was established in 2006 in order to oversee the

donations, maintenance, and funding of public art in the city of Hutchinson, Minnesota. The

Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council for the City and makes recommen-dations to the City Council on issues regarding

public art within the city limits.

About the Sculpture Stroll

The Hutchinson Public Arts Commission created the Sculpture Stroll in 2013 as a way to show-

case work from regional and national artists and to beautify public spaces. Hutchinson currently has eight permanent sculptures and seven that

are on loan from various artists for one year.

Hutchinson is a small but vibrant community of 14,000 located just 60 miles west of the Twin Cities in McLeod County.
