On-Campus Safety Measures for Students

Students must have taken a Covid-19 test to be permitted entry to campus. Guidelines and arrangements will be announced separately.

Temperature checks are required prior to entry. Persons with a temperature higher than 37.5°C will not be permitted entry.

Wearing face masks while on-campus is mandatory at all times.

A minimum 2 meters of social distance must be maintained at all times.

Exercise good personal hygiene habits by regularly washing hands and using the hand sanitizers installed throughout the campus.

Use the designated entry and exit points for each building.

Follow the safety signage posted throughout the campus.

Group gatherings, activities, or public events are not allowed on campus.

Sport activities shall remain suspended until further notice.

Stay at home if you feel unwell or experience flu-like symptoms.

Avoid exchanging personal belongings, food items, stationaries, consumables, and medical instruments. Disinfect your items regularly.

Bring your own prayer mat and follow the safety measures while in the mosque.

Exchange of cash is not allowed across the campus. Only online payments, deposits, transfers, or card payments are accepted.

Follow the posted precautionary measures while using the library, food court, common areas, labs, and clinics.

Follow the seating stickers inside classrooms, labs, studios, clinics and all other facilities – and do not attempt to alter the seating arrangement.

General directives of the UAE government related to Covid-19 testing, contact tracing, and isolation periods shall be followed.

In case you feel unwell or experience Covid-19 like symptoms while on-campus, please contact the Office of Medical Services immediately.

Student hostels are subject to reduced capacity and other safety measures. Special arrangements to be announced separately.

Transportation services will continue to cover the same destinations, but with reduced passenger density and subject to other applicable safety measures.

Food can be consumed at the food court only. Food outlets will be open with strict safety measures. Card payments will be only accepted, and student gathering at the food court is not allowed.

Any violations of the safety measures will be subject to disciplinary action according to applicable policies and procedures.
