Advances in the fields of physical, chemical and life sciences are sources of new and useful knowledge, which creates net benefits for the national economy. The application of this new knowledge has many fold benefits: (i) expanded the economy by making it more productive, (ii) improved health through better medical products and practices and (iii) provided a knowledge base for improved environmental and natural resource management. Moreover, in the last decade, these fields have attracted attention of researchers due to their amazing potential applications in various fields. Hence there is a need to understand the recent developments in Basic & Applied Sciences by the researchers at all levels.

ABAS-2017 is thus aimed to provide a platform for the researchers, academicians, industrialists and students to interact and establish research relations. Such conference opens the path way for future collaborations among researchers.
