• Time Keeper: Keeps track of the time remaining for each assignment or task.

Overview of Titles

• Secretary: Keeps a record of group work and discussion.

• Records the day’s assignments.• Records any discussions within the group.• When a group member is absent, the

secretary helps him or her to make up missing work. (If the secretary is absent, the leader will take over those responsibilities.)

• Makes sure the basket is back in the center of the table.

• Ensures that desks are back in formation and chairs are pushed up neatly.

Overview of Titles

• Presenter: Presents information to the class.

• When called for, the presenter shares the group information with the class or teacher.

• When researching, the presenter informs the group of the information discovered (by all parties).

• Collects all supplies that do not go in the basket and puts them back in their place.

• Gathers papers to be turned in and makes sure they are in the correct tray to be graded.

• Arbitrator: Assigns work within the group and keeps the peace

• When assignments are given, the arbitrator decides who in the group will finish which sections of the work.• If there is an argument, the

arbitrator will diffuse the situation or alert me.• Collects the journals and returns

them, neatly, to their proper place in the baskets at the end of class.
