Ceramic
MATT WINKELMANNMatt’s work explores the idea of taking singular forms, themes, or ideas and combining them into groups of like and similar works so that each individual piece stands by itself but interacts with the other pieces to form a more powerful whole. The changing surfaces, the touched treatment of the medium and the searching lines show the human connection in the interactive nature of this work. Visit the studio to try your hand at pinch pots or just play with mud!

Figurative Ceramic Sculpture
PAT HAASEPat Haase started sculpting in 1994, carving directly in wood. Figure sculptures which convey a specific personality, mood, and setting to the viewer, delight Pat. Her awareness of posture and an-atomy comes as much from teaching Yoga for 19 years as from her medical background. Currently, most of Pat’s sculpture is ceramic and includes many portraits. She also has cast works in bronze, and kiln-cast glass sculpture. Visit Manitou to play with water-based modeling clay.

Ceramic, Printmaking
VIV PAULINO CHARGUALAFColor is the key to Viv’s creations, and the spark that sets her in motion. From her day job to her teaching stints, her volunteer-ing through the arts to the production of wheel-thrown pottery and embellished prints; there is no record of “dull” or “slow” in Viv’s world. Bigger, bolder, and brighter – this is how we recognize Viv’s works. Raku firing if weather permits. Small clay projects for children.
