Polyvinyl chloride (known as PVC) is a widely-used substance. It is essentially derived from simple ingredients: Petroleum, titanium and salt. It is a

hard plastic that is made softer and more flexible by the addition of plasticizers. In

terms of revenue generated, it is one of the most valuable products of the chemical

    industry.

Globally, over 50% of PVC manufactured is used in construction. In addition to its

good physical properties, PVC has excellent chemical resistance, long-term stability,

flammability resistance, good weather ability and insulator electrical properties. The diverse slate of vinyl products can be broadly divided into rigid and flexible

materials. Rigid applications, accounting for 60 % of total vinyl production, are

concentrated in construction markets which include Windows, Doors, Curtain walls &

Structural Glazing as well as railing, fencing, pipes, fittings, siding , carpet backing.

As a building material, PVC is affordable and easy to assemble. Recently PVC has

been replacing traditional building materials such as wood, aluminum and clay in

    many areas.

Let's know more about U-PVC Competitive Advantages .

    Weather Resistance:

Formulate to achieve a high resistance against UV attacks. It can withstand long

exposure in extreme weather change under scorching sun, storms, dryness and high

humidity. No brattling and quality deterioration occurs after over 50 years of usage.

    Heat Insulation:

In an air-conditioned building, windows with low thermal conductive material canreduce the loss of energy according to the fact at 37%. The intelligent selection on factors

of thermal conductivity is the material of the window profile and the selection of the glass.

The thermal conductivity of u-PVC is 0.13 kcal/m2 hr deg. C. and that is 1/1250 of

aluminum which has 175 kcal/m2 hr deg. C.

    Excellent Sound Proof:

U-PVC window material and the multi-chambered designed profile have tight seals,

which are the best in noise reduction. An average sound separation of 22-25 db is reached

in 6 mm glazing and 39 db in double glazing tranquility. It brings and cuts unnecessary

disturbance that is why it is especially favorable to be used in hospitals, schools and office

    buildings.

Note that all glasses used in our products are manufactured by Dr. Greyish factories.

    Corrosion Resistance:

U-PVC windows are free from the attacks of acids, alkalis, waste gases and salts. It is

corrosion resistant when used in Saudi Arabian environment with its desert climate and

high pollution exposure due to heavy industries. U-PVC windows have proved to be the

most preferred in the industrial factories such as breweries, textile and paper mills.

    Excellent Fire Proof:

U-PVC material is an excellent fire proof material according to DIN 4102 for its non

spontaneous ignition and self-extinguishing characteristics. According to the result of

window material combustion test with wood, aluminum and u-PVC conducted by Zurich

fire brigade on February 16,1973, the u-PVC windows had been proved to have no damage

and met the "stipulation of combustible building materials used in high rise building.

    Impact Resistance:

U-PVC profiles are uniquely designed & specially formulated to withstand high

impact. It has an impact resistance of 3kg at 1m in height at 23 deg. C.
