ABOUT OLYMPIC ARES
This vessel is designed for low fuel consumption and excellent sea and station-keeping. This is in addition to low noise and vibration in hull and superstructure which ensures high comfort and safety for the crew.
The vessel is designed according to class and authorities, with high focus on reduced fuel consumption, which also means lesser emission to the environment.
In addition to construction work the vessel can also perform field support duties. The vessel is arranged for 2 WROV’s and 1 Obs ROV with LARS in hangar and a construction Moon Pool (7,2m x 7,2m).

ROV SYSTEMS
Two (2) permanently installed 250 hp Quantum Mk III Heavy Duty Work Class ROV’s deployed from vessel’s hangar. The vehicles are depth rated to 3000m and have an extended Tether Management System (TMS) to 500m. The vehicles incorporate the latest digital telemetry and offer HDTV & gigabyte capability. Additionally, the ROV’s have a payload of 350kg with a bollard pull of up to 1100kgf.
