copy warrants of arrest, together with full personal description of offenders; notices of arrest j also of cancellation of warrants and any other memoranda containing information that may come to their knowledge, and that may be useful in the detection or prevention of crime.

In the event of a serious robbery or other serious offence having been committed, the details, in as concise form as possible, are to be at once telegraphed to Detective Office.

Fremantle.- On the 26th ult., from a tent near tbe Rifle Rangf',- nearly new light grey serge sac suit, the trousers sli ghtly worn at bottoms, and have a grease spot on one leg above knce; the coat has three outside pockets without £laps; buttons on coat and vest same colour as material; pockets contained several letters addressed "A. McDonald ," a few small fishing-hooks, and small 2-bladed white handled knife, the property of Alexander McDonald. -C.I. 327.

Fremantle.-On the 30th ult., from owner's shop, High street,-l navy blue cloth monkey jacket; has three outside pockets with flaps, red and blue cbeck lining, two rows of large black buttons, the property of McHeury Clark & Co.-C.l. 328.

Suspicion attaches to a man known as John Davis or Da,vison, stout build, about 5ft. Sin. or 9in. higb, dark beard cut sbort and growing thin on face, long thin features and prominent nose, about 45 or 50 years old; supposed to have gone towards Euda en 1'oute to South Australia j when last seen had witb him a dark brown mare with very sore back.

Suspicion attaches to an ab. nat., name unknown, described as about 5£t. 8in high, with large whiskers, wearing dirty white short trousers, light billycock hat, and dirty light coloured shirt.-C.I. 346.

Inquiry by N.S.W. Police on behalf of Pratt's wife, whom he has left destitute in Sydney. If found, tbis man should he requested to arrange for the support of his wife.
