Interests_
I love all areas of the arts; theater, music, concerts, galleries, film. I am a passionate white water kayaker and kayak instructor (as well as being Uni club captain). Enjoy amongst other things; surfing, skiing (hoping to be on committee 09-10), kiting, wake boarding, cycling, camping hiking and climbing.
Branding_ Merseyside Maritime Museum The mark was inspired by the buildings historical/landmark location; the Albert dock. The promotional product/packaging was inspired by the wealth through the cotton and slave trade. The (above) product was made from cotton to contain tooth picks. It was stitched and screen printed with the covering ‘unpick history’.
Typography_ Manifesto
My manifesto tries to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability within design. Inspired by the concept of a message in a bottle (s.o.s – a cry for help), I collected bottles off the beach and applied vinyl die cut lettering to them in order to draw attention to pollution destroying our oceans.
The format of the final outcome was a downloadable/ emailable PDF. The bottles themselves also formed a striking installation.

So where do I stand? Smitten by the world of design, eager to apply practice to the practical. Willing to go the extra mile to prove my worth amongst the hustle and bustle of so many other wannabe designers. This is what I want to do.
