Peter Frederick Rothermel's interpretation of Pickett's Charge.
After a four days of battling the traitors finally retreated and lead us to victory. After President Lincoln told General George Meade to take control of the Army of the Potomac. they took position on the top of Cemetery Ridge. (just outside Gettysburg) on July 3, 1863 about 11,000 confederate solders arrived about a mile from Cemetery Ridge. nine brigades attacked the Confederate soldiers, three of which were commanded by General Pickett. We captured about 4,000 of them traitors! In all the traitors killed about 70% of the three brigades that were commanded by General Pickett. (about 50,000 men).

Robert Shaw was a good man he was born in Boston by a respectable family with multiple connections. He was born on October 10, 1837. When he was a child he was friends with Harriett Beecher Stowe. (author of Uncle Tom’s Cabin) From 1856- Mar. 1859 he attended Harvard but, withdrew before he got his degree. He joined the seventh New York regiment. Supported blacks in the military. Surprised his troops with ability. Died on July 18,1863 while trying to capture Fort Wagner. He was buried in a common trench with all of the blacks. The traitors refused to give us the body of the general. Continued
After the the traitors beat us up a little in Chancellorsville. The
Army of Northern Virginia tried to take us on on our own land! they did this
because they thought that they would end the war early. (what were they
thinking?) A small scouting party went ahead, not knowing that they were
heading in the direction of General Gordon. (confederate, who had arrived
on June 26, 1863) While they were riding one of Gordon’s men spotted
them and tried to stop them. They took down George Sandoe but, his
companion got away. The Battle’s first causality was when they shot San-
doe in the head.

Did they think that that they would stop us from having blacks in the military because they didn’t give us the body of a general. Did they think that that would scare the blacks from be-ing in the military. It made us want to fight them more and it also made the blacks want to fight more also. Once we knew that the blacks could fight we let them fight more.

President Lincoln didn’t like the progression of the army of the Potomac so instead he ap-pointed General Meade to take over for them so that they might actually get some where and win the war against the traitors from the south. While that is happening Lee heard word that they were getting closer so he decided to combine his forces. On the third day the Army of the Potomac was atop cemetery ridge and the army of West Virginia was about a mile away from cemetery ridge. As they came closer 9 brigades attacked the traitors. These men were battling for their country so even for there freedom. More than 50, 00 men were lost that day. On July 4, 1863 Lee retreated taking his army of traitors with them. They went by wagons about a mile long with "ambulances" stationed in the wagons (most of them) 23% of the men on the wagons didn’t even make it to the confederate land.

Dear Editor,
In you earlier addition you said that General Lee’s army split in to tree
parts and they won. is that the north should have won. yes the south did
have the element of suprise but, they were split into three parts! The Union
should have had the advanade because the south had to come to them.
