Wednesday July 31, 2013 at 8:00 P.M. our 2nd Annual “Christ-mas In July” party at the Brahma Bull restaurant. Party is for adults, but we are collecting gifts for the children for Christmas. Please bring an unwrapped toy, new clothing for a child under 12 years, or a cash donation to be used for Christmas gifts for our needy children in Okeechobee. We will collect toys, clothing and cash donations until Aug. 5. Thank you again, Okeechobee, for your generous donations in helping the Brahma Bull Restaurant help our children.

The professional and volunteer firefighters are having their an-nual school supply drive August 9th, 10th and 11th in front of Wal Mart. Support the firefighters on Friday August 9th 4:30 – 7:00; Saturday August 10th 9:30 – 3:30, and Sunday August 11th 9:30 – 3:30. All supplies will be donated to My Aunt’s House (501c3) for distribution to needy and foster children in Okeechobee. There are drop boxes at all Okeechobee fire stations, so if you are unable to make it to Wal Mart you can drop off supplies at any of the stations before the 12th of August.

The Chobee Steelers invite you to join them for their 4th sum-mer program on 7/27 6:30 PM at the Freshman Campus located behind the Golden Corral. This year in addition to the fantastic music of the Chobee Steelers, we will honor the Steelers who have graduated from the program. Dr. Aaron Graham of New Jersey will be our speaker.
