8:30-9.30 Registration: Student Union meeting rooms on the UNLV Campus : 4505 S

Maryland Parkway, between Flamingo and Paradise, Room 208 A, second floor It is a new building with Student Union written in bug letters on the side. You access the front of the Student Union where Harmon and Maryland Parkway meet.

As there are plenty of food and beverage venues in the Student Union, conference beverages and snacks will not be provided. Get here early to purchase you favorite beverage and snack. Food is allowed in the conference rooms

8.00-9.00 Group A Meet Judy Ryerson at the Lied Library Café on the UNLV

campus for a light continental style breakfast. Hear about the history of the special collections department at UNLV. Attendees are responsible for getting to the Lied Library on the UNLV campus.The Lied Library and Special Collections is on the main UNLV campus, where Harmon Street ends just off Paradise.

9.00-10.00 Group A Tour special collections and view the work of Jerry Jackson

and Bob Mackie. Jerry is a designer known for his international spectacles and Las Vegas Shows. Director and Choreographer for Follies Bergiere which performed at The Tropicana for over thirty years.

8.00-9.00 Group B Meet Virginia Vogel at the MGM Casino Hotel and have

breakfast in one of the Café’s . Here some basic information about how Las Vegas produces shows in the casinos. The main entrance is on Tropicana, just south of Las Vegas Bulevard.

9.00-10.00 Group B tour Ka at the MGM Casino Hotel. One of the most

sophisticated, aesthetic, and artistic entertainments on the Strip 10.00-10.45 Group A travels to MGM Casino and Group B travels to UNLV and the

Lied Library. Transportation for hire will be arranged for the group to get to MGM or the Lied LIbrary All Attendees should have US dollars to pay for their transportation. The amount is still to be determined. As of publishing date.

11:00- 12:00 Group A will tour Ka and Group B will tour the special collections.

12:10- 12:20 Group B travels to MGM to meet up with Group A Transportation will be organized for hire.

Evening is free for dinner and/or show of your choice.
