Timber Framing for all their input in making this hap-pen.The P&C hosted a very successful sausage sizzle and cake stall on election day. Sincere thanks to all that supported the school on the day.On Friday, our school organised and managed the small schools cross country annual event in the grounds of Hamden park in Robertson. This month has been quiet but steady with storms causing news fires to ignite from lightning. The brigade has utilised spare time and the rain to undertake navigational training and local area familiarisation.
Coming into winter and hopefully a lot more rain, just a reminder not to drive in the wet with your cruise control on as this can cause your car to lose traction.Currently the Bush Fire Danger Season is scheduled to conclude on the 1st of April. With this being said it is a timely reminder for all residents to familiarise
themselves with counci l regulat ions regarding pile burns. The end of the bushfire danger period is also a timely reminder to clean your chimneys. If the unfortunate situation arises, we are always happy to help; but please do your best to avoid these situations.Have you ever thought about volunteering? If so, now is the time! Coming into the winter months is the perfect time to come down, say hello and be trained up for fire season! We meet every Wednesday from 7.30pm. If you have any questions, please come down and have a chat with one of our senior officers.
