Travelogue

The view from the outskirts of the city is a beautiful one. Looking out you can see the towers curved edges, the brightness of the city and the intense glow it creates. Glass structures reflect the light of the sun, this provides power. The city uses this light sources which provides it with natural light everywhere you go, because of this the city is run on solar technology, the glow becomes the aftermath bringing to light the reason as to why this city is alive and using it to keep it running.

As you walk around the city the natural light gives its very vibrant glow and natural feel; the houses have a simple sleek glass design that if you reach out and touch them are smooth and have soft faded colours. This creates a bright aura and brings easiness to the eye, despite the glare from the prominent sun. The houses are small, but lined up evenly and as you go around the corner you areproduced a spectacular vision, the church within the city. The church has a simple design, yet, it consist of a lot of curvature at the bases of its towers. The glass frosted with religious pictures in every other panel. The church is one of the main buildings contributing to the reflected natural light in the city as it stands taller than most buildings with a more reflective surface. You could spot it from on high as it glows most brightly of them all, as if God and his heavenly host was present giving this light a purpose more so than lighting the way. During the day when light shines, the buildings not only being quite bright, the frosted glass also reflects the colour from it making the city glow like a rainbow, crystalized rainbows that bounce off of every surface.

The city, through all its wonder, has simple technology. Despite its simplicity, it is clean and has smoother roads compared to other cities in the area. The main floor is a mixture of tarmac and glass, a smooth surface that’s easy to walk on and to drive on. This city has regular orientated cleaners that clean the city, the main road from garbage and dirt in the floor. Making it one of the cleanest city which contribute to its natural life reflections. During the Night, there are some relativity tall street lights that have a similar shape to a lamp with a soft curves that hang over the main road arcing elegantly; reflecting the naturalistic ways the people live. The street lamps also provide a soft light that mimics the suns ray which keep the city running.

The city has a simple, sleek, curvy design that’s eco-friendly that has a main focus of brightness and friendliness of the light. This is an aim to prevent people becoming blind from the natural lights and to prevent the city getting overly bright from its reflective surfaces. This way it has reduced the amount of accidents and improved the way its people live.
