We employ highly experienced and qualified accountants, company secretaries and other skilled associates, with over 300 fee earners world-wide. We have offices in 11 jurisdictions providing both onshore and offshore advice across all time zones and key financial markets.

We work with the leading international accountancy practices and law firms as well as many of the world’s major companies, investment houses and ultra high net worth individuals.

Our success is based on a number of factors including recruiting and retaining the very best people, developing and following a client-focused strategy, providing our clients with the highest levels of service and having an efficient and effective management structure.

As a result, we have built a diverse and robust business – one that continues to grow strongly despite the sustained economic slowdown.

The growth of OFS has been exceptional: from 15 employees in 1998 to nearly 400 today. We have 265 employees based in Jersey, where the company is headquartered and work closely with the other offices in the Ogier Group which have also grown in size in recent years.

Within Jersey, Ogier is now a top five private sector employer. Our growth on the island has been entirely organic and client led.

Ogier Corporate Services incorporates three service lines, each providing specialist trust and administration services as required by components of large corporate and financial entities:

Performance & Reward Management We design, establish and provide ongoing trustee and administration services for incentive schemes, such as pension and saving plans that benefit all levels of employees and executives.

Our technical expertise, online systems, service excellence and independence set us apart from other providers in the employee and executive incentives market.

Corporate Services We provide onshore and offshore director, corporate administration, secretarial, bookkeeping and accounting services to diverse corporate and institutionally owned multi-jurisdictional structures, consisting of companies, limited partnerships, unit trusts and other vehicles. We offer services to support all sorts of corporate actions, such as mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity listing, restructuring and refinancing.

International FinanceOur International Finance team provides incorporation and administration services to trusts, partnerships, special purpose vehicles and other corporate entities established for capital markets transactions. Our expertise includes commercial paper programmes; exchange traded products; medium-term note programmes; securitisation and share trusts, charitable trusts and foundations.

Ogier Fund Services’ clients range from institutions to start-up fund managers. For each, we offer a tailored structure that fits the client’s exact requirements, accounting for both commercial and economic pressures.

We work in partnership with regulators and industry organisations to ensure that we stay at the forefront of industry thinking, and are active participants in regulatory reform.

Our core fund services include fund launches; administration and accounting; corporate offshore administration; listing services; directorship services and registered transfer agent services.

Hedge FundsOur Hedge Fund Services team provides a full range of services to funds, whether structured as companies, limited partnerships or unit trusts. We help fund managers to meet legislative and regulatory requirements and provide bespoke solutions that address the administrative needs of our clients.

Private EquityOur Private Equity Fund Services team administer all types of alternative asset class. We use a best-of-breed approach, using Microsoft Dynamics to provide secretarial and compliance services for all entities, and the market-leading private equity package, SunGard Investran. We have expertise in private equity; mezzanine; real estate; infrastructure; cleantech; life sciences; emerging markets; secondaries; venture capital and fund of funds.

Real EstateOur specialist Real Estate team includes more than 25 administrators, accountants and support staff who all work exclusively on real estate structures which have an aggregate value of £12 billion assets under management. We are experienced in the day-to-day management of these complex structures and their underlying assets and offer full corporate and fund administration services.

Ogier Private Wealth is an independent specialist team of administrators who cater specifically for the needs of wealthy families, family offices and owner-managed businesses. We provide a highly responsive, discreet service that is both practical and solutions-based. Members of our team are consistently recognised individually and collectively as leaders in their field.

Trust, Company and Foundation Administration  We provide independent and bespoke administration services principally to trusts and foundations for individuals and families.

Family Office We assist families in planning for the future, both in relation to their business and their personal assets. This includes services to private trust companies, family limited partnerships, charitable and non-charitable purpose trusts.

Business Succession Our business succession team helps families to devise and implement planning in relation to the transmission of a business from one generation to the next or the sale of an owner-managed business.

Real Estate We administer structures holding high-end residential property and offer payroll and concierge services. We also advise on and administer significant structures holding commercial property, from industrial to hotel, for single investors, for joint ventures or for regulated funds.

Philanthropy For individuals and families looking to create platforms for charitable or philanthropic giving, we are able to utilise our network of offices and multi-jurisdictional expertise to choose the right vehicle and administer it in the right time zone. 

Probate Our Probate team provides all aspects of probate and estate administration, including obtaining grants of probate / letters of administration, gathering and valuing assets and liaising with financial advisors and other professionals.

We provide capital investment and treasury management to support the growing demand from private and corporate clients who seek a more sophisticated approach to the preservation and enhancement of their assets. 

We provide liquidity management solutions and investment consulting. We work with clients to obtain a full understanding of their liquidity and other financial requirements, ensuring that the risk associated with counterparties is suitably identified, mitigated and monitored – whether in terms of a bank’s balance sheet or with regard to the suitability

and performance of an investment portfolio for a given set of objectives and level of risk.  While continuing to be independent, we work closely with banks, custodians, foreign exchange providers and investment houses to ensure suitable levels of diversification, as well as obtaining the best prices and terms for our clients.

Our client service feedback programme provides information about how satisfied our clients are, how likely they are to recommend and reinstruct us and what areas we need to improve. The interviews that are carried out on our behalf by independent research agency Acuigen demonstrate remarkably high levels of satisfaction.

80% of our clients say that they are either extremely or very satisfied with our service with 84% being very likely to reinstruct and 87% saying that they would recommend Ogier to others. Clients report that we do well with our commercial

A generous budget is set aside for training and development and on joining we will agree your personal training plan with you.

We are firm believers in supporting the community and have an active sponsorship and fundraising programme.

For example in Guernsey and Jersey our sponsorships focus on the Arts, Community & the Environment, Education and Sport. These include Le Squez youth club, where we have funded a full-time assistant youth worker; Jersey Heritage, for which we are the green sponsor; Kit4Clubs, where we help local sports clubs to purchase new equipment and

upgrade facilities; and the Guernsey Squash Racquets Association and the Guernsey Young Enterprise Scheme.

We have company charities selected by our employees each year, for which we raise approximately £50,000 annually through initiatives such as raffles, auctions and cake sales.

Over the last few years we have raised money for local charities such as Macmillan and Family Nursing and Healthcare in Jersey and Les Bourgs Hospice Appeal and the Guernsey Lifeboat.

Out & about

Social

At Ogier we believe in unwinding and getting to know colleagues and have active sports and social committees in all offices.

In Jersey for example, If you are into sport, we offer leagues in Touch Rugby, Hockey, Netball and Basketball; you can join the Le Tournoi Football competition or take part in an inter-departmental five-a-side; show your strokes in the Swimathon; or join colleagues for the Ogier Golf or Pool Challenges.

Guernsey also offer sporting opportunities such as Touch Rugby, an Inter-Firm Relay, Swimarathon and participation in other charitable events.

On the social front, we have an annual summer event, bowling nights and charity auction evening – and our Christmas parties are legendary.
