RGC Expresses Gratitude:A member of the RGC, Mr. Mrityunja Singh, (Son of late Captain Lt. Gen Himmeth Singh) and his wife Ms. Behroze Singh have contributed immensely towards the development of the young golfers of the club. Mrs. Behroze Singh has ve ry generous ly sponsored the club's rising talent Prakhar Asawa. Also, Mr. Singh has organised several coaching camps in the past for youngsters wanting to learn and play golf. The RGC expresses its gratitude to them.

Presentations — Redesigning of Rambagh Golf Course:The RGC has decided to redesign the Rambagh Golf Course. In this connection two companies, M/s. Cope Design Ltd.( Mr. John Cope) and M/s. Silver Glade (Col. S.K. Bhattacharya and Mr. Anit Mehrotra) made a presentation to the members. There was active interaction between the members and presenters.

oticing the growing craze of golf among the youth of the city the Rambagh Gol f Club had N

arranged two summer golf coaching camps in the month of may and June. The camps were a huge hit among the children from the age group of 7 to 18 years.

They were organized at a nominal fee of Rs. 1500 for members' children and Rs. 2000 for non members' children with only 40 students per camp. The golf course used to be buzzing with activity in morning hours by these enthused young students all wanting to try a stroke or two at the game.

At the end of the summer golf coaching camp, a number of Competitions like putting, chipping, and long drive competitions were held. The students with 75% of attendance were facilitated to appear in a basic test of golf and the qualifying ones were awarded participation certificates by the Club. These became the highlights of the summer coaching camp among the amateur players.

TOP CLASS FACILITIES AT THE RGCn frenetic times like today, exercise as well as rejuvenation are essential for the body. In view of this the Rambagh Golf Club provides add on facilities to its members – a well equipped Gymnasium and Swimming Pool. The Tee off I

Gymnasium was inaugurated on 1 April this year and has around 250 members now. It is well appointed with world class machines like tread mills, cycles, joggers, weights and bench presses to name a few. The Gym can accommodate more than 30 people at a time. The 25 mtr. Swimming Pool also has locker and separate changing room facilities. The pool was also inaugurated on the same day as the gym and has more than 150 members now.

Once the members are done with their game or gym or swimming – they can unwind at RGC's bar and multi cuisine restaurant. The 19th Hole is a well stocked bar with glass paneling that gives a splendid view of the lush green golf course. A perfect place to spend a quiet evening with simple yet elegant ambience and high toned furniture.

The multi cuisine restro lounge, Albatross serves delectable Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes. They also have on their menu a variety of Rajasthani specialities like Gatte ki sabzi, Desi mutton to name a few. Albatross has slight rustic look to it with copper coloured railings and lantern shaped lamps. It has a capacity of around 150 persons with an attached private dining area with a capacity of 15 guests. The highlight of the lounge is the outdoor smoke grill house which serves sizzlers and tandoori delicacies.
