NOTICE

In view of guidelines framed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court and MCI New Delhi, to curb

the menace of ragging, all the students of this college persuing M.B.B.S. Course are hereby

directed to submit an Annual Affidavit for the year 2014-15 along with affidavit from his/her

paresnts separately (Affidavit performa may be obtained from HOD concerned as mentioned

below). Such an affidavit shall be furnished in English & Hindi separately by the candidate & by

the parents on rupees 10/- Non Judicial bond paper duly notarized so as to submit as under

immediately on return from vacations by 11-08-2013 positively. The defaulter students will not

be allowed to attend Theory & Practical classes at his/her own risk. Both the affidavit performa

As per direction issued by Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, guidelines issued by

the “University Grant Commission, NALSA, Govt. of India, Govt. of Rajasthan,

Rajasthan University of Health Sciences and M.C.I. Anti-ragging regulations “Prevention

& Prohibition of Ragging in Medical College / Institutions Regulations, 2009” point No.

i. As per new directives issued, undertaking of ragging from the parents & students is

required online from session 2014-15.The said undertaking can be obtained from any of

the two website :- www.antirgging.in or www.amanmovement.org . Notice to this effect

has been issued vide this office notice no. RNT / Acad./ UG / F- Ragging /2014/783

dated 01-07-2014 and the last date for submission of hardcopy of online Anti- Ragging

Undertaking is 31-07-2014. For all the Students presently studying at this college have

been asked to submit their hardcopy of online affidavit as under, issued by this office

which was approved by the members.

ii. It was decided that there will be no dress code for newly entrants boys & girls (students).

This will be informed to the students at the time of their medical examination. They will

be addressed by the Principal & Controller, followed by the Additional Principals.

iii. Notice to the effect not indulging in ragging will be displayed on all departments notice

boards and at all important places alongwith the guidelines of Supreme Court / MCI

regarding rules of ragging and its consequences & copies of rules will also be sent to all

concerned including HOD’s and members of ARC / ARS. This will be responsibility of

concerned HOD to display copies of the Supreme Court / MCI / Affidavit on department

notice boards.

iv. All the members were of the opinion that telephone numbers of Chief Warden & Warden

of different hostels should be pasted at important places of this college / hospitals and on

all notice boards for prevention of ragging as helpline so that student / parents may

contract the person for making complaint, if any, regarding ragging and these telephone

numbers will also be given to all freshers on the day of medical examination. (for the

Students residing in hostels).

v. The compliant can be lodged to any of the warden. Once a compliant is received then the

committee of the warden / chief warden / Additional Principal (I-II) will look into the

matter and will advise Principal & Controller for further necessary action. In case of

students who are Day Scholar should contact members of ARC / ARS as mentioned

above.

vi. The Professor & HOD, Phychiatry of this college will be informed to deliver a lecture on

“Anti Ragging and consequences of indulging in ragging in Medical Colleges to the

newly entrants students at the time of their Medical Examination day. The HOD,



Psychiatry will also deliver a lecture for all the senior students on a suitable date & time

which will be intimated to him separately as per programme of admission of 2014 batch.

vii. The members were of the opinion to declare vacation for 10 days period, as per

government directives according to medical examination dates for newly admitted

candidates 2014 and to get the hostel vacated during vacation to avoid ragging. During

this period, classes will remain suspended. Wardens of Junior Boys, Senior Boys and

Girls hostels will see that all the hostellers (UG) have vacated the hostels.

viii. A letter to be issued to the parents of Senior batch students to ensure that their wards

do not enter in the college premises during 10 days vacation period and also not to stay in

their hostels. The students and their parents will have to submit an affidavit, regarding

ragging as per directives of Hon’ble Supreme Court, separately on rupees 10/- Non

Judicial bond paper duly notarized and to submit the same to the concerned at the time of

joining the college after the vacation otherwise the defaulter students will not be allowed

to attend theory & practical classes.

ix. No officer was present from police department and PRO department side. It was decided

that police authority may be asked that police round should be made after 11 P.M. in the

campus along with day rounds.

x. President, Students welfare Council was authorized to submit the names of Ten Senior

Students for forming “Mentor Cell” ragging anti ragging campaign. He submitted the list
