claims department in region 1940's - Developed a fire-protection engineering department 1950's - Expanded with a Chicago office. 1970's - Built current home office and merged Chicago and Texarkana offices. 1990's - Expanded with 3 regional offices in area

From the founding of the Chamber of Commerce (1905), development of Red River and Lone Star (1939), creation of Wadley Hospital (1958) assistance in creating a K-16 math and engineering program and a new university campus for Texas A & M Texarkana (2006) and other vital projects, the people of Offenhauser, including eight Palmer Award winners, have served corporations, small businesses & individuals with distinction.
