The aim is to further encourage them in their efforts to enhance their academic achievement and knowledge to maintain excellence and superiority. Al Ain University Participates in NAJAH 2015 In its eagerness to communicate with pupils in all fields, Al Ain University of Science and Technology participated in Al Najah Exhibition of the education and employment 2015 which determined under the trade of his Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, which had been maintained in the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre between 27-29 October, 2015. Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign in Al Ain University The Student Affairs Deanship at Al-Ain University of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi and in Al Ain organized a breast cancer awareness event to coincide with world day for breast cancer. Many university students participated by conducting various activities and events to raise awareness about breast cancer. Al Ain University Celebrates ‘World Teachers Day’ The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University of Science and Technology organized a ‘World Teachers Day’ Event, which marks every 5th October of every year. The event was arranged with the Professional Diploma in Teaching Department in the College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, which included a visit to some schools to congratulate teachers who have obtained creative Teachers Award from the Niemeh Primary State School. Training Course for the 2015 Abu Dhabi Science Festival Guides The Deanship Student Affairs at Al-Ain University of Science and Technology, based in Abu Dhabi, and in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Technology Development Committee, organized a TDC training course for university students on how to be science advisors. Healthy Heart Events at Al Ain University In order to raise the level of awareness in the community and in line with the world celebrations, a ‘World Heart Day’ was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al-Ain University of Science and Technology, based in Al Ain city. It is meant to raise effective awareness about cardiovascular health, where a number of college students have gone on a healthy tour to measure their pressure and glucose level.

Al Ain University Students Visit the Masdar Institute of Science and TechnologyThe Student Affairs Deanship at Al-Ain University of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi organized a student visit to Masdar Institute of Science and Technology where they were greeted by Ms Shaima Al-Habsi from the Supplement Energy and Climate Change Sect. She explained about the insitution, which was created in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She also mentioned that the institutes offers postgraduate and research programmes in the field of advanced energy and sustainable technologies, where it aims to support research and development activities in the field of alternative energy and clean technologies in the city.
Blood Donation Campaign at Al Ain UniversityThe Student Affairs Deanships at Al Ain University of Science and Technology in both campuses, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, have organized a blood donation drive in cooperation with the Blood Bank at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi and Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, where the initiative comes from the University that aimed at strengthening communication and collaboration, and reaffirmed by the teachings of Islam, as well as endeavoring to implement good leaders in the State. The University is working on transferring information to the students and guide them towards the right way to share and learn their importance and their roles in building a coherent and responsible society.
Lecture Entitled “Methods of Scientific Research” at Al Ain UniversityTheStudent Affairs Deanship at Al-Ain University of Science and Technology, based in Abu Dhabi, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Presidential Affairs of National Archive, organized a lecture on “Research Methods”, which was conducted by Professor Abdul Latif Sayyadi, in the presence of members of the academic and administrative bodies and university students.
The lecturer pointed out the definition of scientific research and its great importance in people’s lives because it is the foundation on which upgrades them intellectually, culturally, socially, scientifically, and acts as an effective tool for fact-finding and overcoming difficulties.
A Lecture Entitled “Economy Knowledge” at Al Ain UniversityThe Deanship of Student Affairs at Al-Ain University of Science and Technology, based in Abu Dhabi, and in cooperation with the Communty Engagement Committee in the Business College, has organized a lecture entitled “Economy Knowledge “ by Dr. Sa’id al-Khatib, a member of the academic staff at the College of Business Administration in the presence of members of the academic and administrative bodies and university students.
The lecture began with a review of the concept of the economy knowledge and the international attention shifting from a traditional economy based on abundant factors of production to a knowledge-based economy.
