Reimbursement of Charges for Train Ticket Bookingfor Railway Boo~ing for Railway journeys undertakenfor Official purposeslL TC..

The undersigned is directed to invite a reference to the subjectmentioned above and to say theit the Indian Railways have introduced booking ofrailway tickets through" Internet" and keeping this aspect in view, the Governmentof India have allowed reimbursement of charges for booking of rail tickets hrough .Internetle-ticketing in respect of their employees.

Makr has also been examined/ considered by the State Government. of Himachal Pradesh and·it has been'decided that thereimbursement of charges for

booking of rail tickets through Internet/e-ticketing, booked through the website ofIndian Railways, may be allowed only for railway journeys undertaken for official'tours and LTe for employees of State Government of Himachal Pradesh.
