A Feather in TLC’s Cap

It is rare that this magazine cover prints one subject on both the frontand back covers. This shot was taken at the Mission Inn’s Marina atthis year’s Winter Tour. And two of our members’ cars are in thephoto!

Through a grant Steve Ellis was able to cover the cost of printing a 17x 24” copy on glossy paper for you. There are enough copies for eachTLC member. It is suitable for framing.

Several members have picked up their copies and I would appreciateit if you would attend a TLC monthly meeting or The Villages’ Cruise Into pick yours up. Or you can pick it up at my house most any time(call 352 446-0331). I can also deliver if not too far. Mailing will benecessary in some cases.

FYI, I think we spoke of this during the Poorboy Tour. (Which wasreally great Brent! Thank you again)

I am back at work in the shop (a little) and assembled thetransmission with George's donated Triple Gears (thank you!) anda late model brake drum that I cut down. I really like the way the26-27 drum substitutes for an early drum when you cut the widerextension off the drum. See the picture. It offers more "beef"and replaceable "lugs".

I'll use a 26-27 Drive Plate as well.

I'll take pictures as I assemble it, so everyone can see what it'slike internally.
