that softens the residue up, activates second growth, restores perennial grassland and
prepares the seedbed up to 4 cm prior to spring sowing.

Crop residue should be evenly spread to activate second growth and thus prepare
soil for the following cultivating operations. In spring, we recommend using the straw
harrow to prepare soil for early “opening” and faster warming of the top soil layer.
The straw harrow can also be used for spring revitalization of perennial grassland.

STRIEGEl-PRo PE Straw Harrow has six hydraulically adjustable
rows of tines. The last two rows can be set independently using

If you want to get the most from your soil and plants, give soil all it needs and follow
the proper order of work operations.
Start with immediate stubble cultivation to disrupt soil capilliarity and mix crop
residue and seeds with soil. When you compact everything, seeds will quickly start to
germinate and you can mechanically destroy them with the following operation.
The application of SWIFTERDISC in seedbed preparation can be an alternative aimed
at reducing the purchase costs of the machine and increasing its annual use. However,
compactor is not easy to replace.

in fields with a large amount of crop residue. The HO model with 660 mm
discs allows soil cultivation to 18 cm.

The crop you grow needs properly cultivated soil. At times of intensive farming
and increased yields, there is also more crop residue. If you also manage livestock
production, you are likely to use the crop residue as fodder or bedding. If you are plant
production specialists, give soil back what it needs – organic fertiliser.
Crops such as maize or wheat with more than 10 tonnes per hectare require larger discs
for incorporation of a large amount of material to the depth of 16 cm.

PASS
A high-quality seedbed is the main prerequisite for proper germination, growth
and chemical protection of plants. In a single pass, you will level the field,
crumble clods, loosen and reinforce the bottom part of the seedbed – all of that
at a constant working depth. Seedbed cultivators are extremely important in the
seedbed preparation prior to sowing spring crops and rapeseed that requires a
seedbed with a slightly compacted bottom, trough which capillary moisture is
absorbed, and a loosened top layer providing a fast penetration of oxygen and
warmth into soil.

The 270 mm sweeps ensure cutting the soil profile along the entire width of the machine, which creates a
firm bottom. At the same time, soil is worked aggressively thanks to the working angle of the sweeps, which
creates a loosened top layer. Each sweep is attached to a flexible tine that allows a “3D effect” (horizontal and
vertical movement), which protects the sweep from damage.

The Gamma points loosen, aerate and warm up soil without bringing wet particles to the surface which preserves

SEcTiOn FRAME SPRing lOAding
The individual frames of the sections in So compactors are spring
loaded through leaf springs. All impacts directed at the frame of
the machine are absorbed and the machine also works in a stable
manner at higher speeds.

Deep soil cultivation solves problems with compaction caused by the
travelling heavy technology and shallow soil cultivation continuously
at the same depth. It is a soil structure reviving process. However,
complete revitalization takes many years. Deep cultivation as such
disrupts the plough basin and restores mineralization processes in soil.
Thanks to access to oxygen, plants develop a better root system which
is the prerequisite for the formation of phytomass in the vegetation
stage. In the rainy season, soil after deep cultivation is able to absorb
rainstorms and in the dry season, roots are able to find moisture even
in deeper layers of soil. The chisel plough with deep cultivation is a
suitable solution for the incorporation of manure and digestate in a
single pass.

The To model is offered with widths of 4, 5 and 6 metres. It is the
largest chisel plough on the market. The axle is mounted in front of
the rear roller. This design provides a constant depth and simplifies
turning at the headland. This axle arrangement also allows working
the machine without the rear packers which you will mainly appreciate
in the moist autumn conditions.
wHAT TO cHOOSE: Tn_PROFi OR Tn_RT?
The main difference is in the rear rollers. The mounted TN_Profi model
has two rows of cutter discs for perfect work completion. The TN_RT
model has a removable drawbar and a pneumatic packer and can be
thus used as a mounted or semi-mounted machine. TN_Profi is more
popular. When suitable, it is possible to sow after a single pass.

The GAlAXY version has trailed field rollers with perfect surface
contouring. The working sections of rollers allow for independent surface
contouring with constant down pressure. And that makes GAlAXY field
rollers different from others. The rollers are designed for soil consolidation

Historically, weeding is an important field operation that used to be
done to cultivate inter-row crops, disrupt the soil crust and eliminate
the growth of weeds. It is only possible to utilise the potential of plants
at one hundred percent when they have access to air and a good
ability of soil to absorb rainfall. Inter-row cultivation is an addition to
chemical protection, namely in cases of draught when the effectiveness
of pre-emergent herbicides is limited, and in case of occurrence of
annual dicotyledonous weeds that are resistant to herbicides, or when
using herbicides with a limited spectrum of effect or a shorter effective
period. Inter-row cultivation and additional fertilisation into inter-rows

Thanks to PSP (Precise Seed Placement), the disc drill coulters
perfectly trace any terrain unevenness, both in the longitudinal and
cross direction. The seeds are thus placed at an identical sowing
depth along the entire working width of the machine.

The optional equipment includes a mechanical or electronic
deactivation of a half of the width of the seed drill, which
prevents overlapping of seeds in the field wedges.
cOulTER SEcTiOn FOR culTivATiOn
in wET cOndiTiOnS
The coulter section is an optional accessory to the oMEGA oo and oo_l seed
drills. This working section can be installed between the first rows of discs and
the pneumatic packer. The section is formed by corrugated discs with a diameter
of 400 mm. The individual discs are offset so that they do not get clogged during
work. The section is designed for soil cultivation prior to sowing. In spring, the seed
drill only works with a recessed coulter section so that the soil is not brought out
and mixed by the front disc section. on the contrary, when sowing rapeseed, both
sections (coulter and disc) work to provide ideal clod crumbling and to prepare
ideal conditions for sowing.

OFFSET PAckER
The individual tyres of the oMEGA oo 6000 l seed
drill packer are installed with an axle offset which
increases resistance to clogging in wet conditions.
The offset packer tyre bearing also increases the
stability of the seed drill and improves its weight
distribution on soil.

The system of “profile fertilisation” is one of the efficient methods for maintaining a sufficient
and balanced supply of nutrients in the soil, not only at the level of arable soil, but also in
the deeper layers of the soil profile. This innovative method of fertiliser application is suitable
both for adding deficit nutrients to the soil at the balanced level of a good supply and for
improving the availability of nutrients for the plants, as well as a positive effect on the growth
of the root system. The application of this fertilisation method and the determination of
the individual batches of nutrients for fertilisation should be performed on the basis of the
diagnostics of the supply of acceptable nutrients in soil, e.g. current soil analyses from the
system of the Agrochemical Farmland Testing (the content of nutrients in the soil in the
standardized extract Mehlich III) provide the contents of nutrients.

An uneven spreading of after-harvest residues on the soil leads to an
uneven drainage of nutrients from the soil and lack of nutrients for
the crops sown later. This local, nutrient deficit is hard to balance.
Mulching is important to prevent such complications. BEDNAR
MulCHER machines are equipped with maize blades for mulching
arable land. The blades, in combination with counter blades and
spreading plates cut the stubble-field and crop residues at two
levels. Thorough cutting and spreading of crop residues after harvest
provides ideal conditions for their even incorporation and mixing into
the soil profile with subsequent promotion of mineralization. A low
stubble-field with well-cut straw is crucial for the quality result of the

Trash-Fan is a device for continuous cleaning of the machine
surface. The main part of this device is a fan that creates a stream of
air which is directed to the risk spots on the surface of the mulcher
by wind straighteners. This device significantly saves costs of down
time due to machine cleaning and also increases labour safety.
