This Morning during our worship service we will commemorate Jesus’ death and resurrection as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper. We invite children and adults, all who have professed Jesus as their Lord and Savior to join us in communion. The second offering is the Benevolence offering. It is a thank offering for the Benevolent Fund. The deacons use this fund to help those in need who are a part of this body and from the community. Back2School Blessing is coming Saturday, August 12th! Volunteers are needed Wednesday, Aug. 10th to prepare the backpack assembly line, Thursday, August 11th to stuff backpacks and on Saturday, Aug. 12th at the event at SVC. Please sign up on the signup sheets on the table in the entryway if you can help out! Thanks!! The Church Picnic has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 13th in place of the August Shepherd Groups right here at FCF following the morning worship service. Please sign up in the entryway so we know how many to expect. Games, prizes, food and fellowship await! Don’t miss out on this time with your church family. Prizes for the Church Picnic: A donation box is in the entryway for game prizes for the church picnic. Look around your home for small toys, small gift items that are in good condition that you no longer want or need. Items for children, teenagers and adults will be appreciated. (i.e., puzzles, card games, small toys, movies, books, candles) Skagit CROP HUNGER WALK: We all care about hungry people, but what can one person do? You can join in the Skagit CROP HUNGER WALK on October 1st at 2:00 PM. Help raise awareness and funds to end hunger one step at a time around the world and here in SKAGIT County. To join the walk, visit crophungerwalk.org. Our team captain is Nancy Maas.

A Warm Welcome to all who are worshipping with us today. If you are a visitor or new to our church, please fill out a visitor’s card located on the table in the entryway. A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers through age 3, located in the hallway of the entryway. Children’s Bulletins are available on the table by the door in the entry way for the younger children. Prayer Requests: Inserts are in the bulletin for prayer requests. If you have a request, please fill the insert out and place it in the offering basket when it comes around or the prayer box just outside the sanctuary. Requests are prayed for on Tuesday and also printed in the bulletin unless they are marked confidential. Children and Worship will resume in September.

Concerns and praises within our family at Faith

Special Prayer Requests: - Continued prayer for those struggling with cancer: Shirley Nelson, Mike VanBerkum's brother John, and Sienne Ackermann. - Our country--prayer for our country and our leaders, especially as they wrestle with health care coverage and our role in the world. - Christy Ledeboer—prayer for her next 4 day hospital infusion that began Friday. Please pray for continued minimal side effects, for a good spirit heading during that time and for the neuropathy in her feet to diminish. - Andrew and Anastasia Segars (Diane Segars’ son and daughter in law)--prayer as they travel by car through the area he has been serving with USAID--Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. They will then be returning to the US to live after living overseas for 17 years. Please pray for the adjustment to an unfamiliar culture for both of them, and for Andrew to be led to the right job. - Jacob Anderson—prayer for safety and good health and lots of fishing opportunities while working on a fishing boat in Alaska for 6 weeks. - Tami Viveros (Gloria Wicklund’s niece)—prayer for a full-time teaching position in California. She recently graduated with her Masters in teaching. - prayer for those struggling with chronic health issues. Praise for: - Heather and Kenny Berger—praise the Lord for their wedding celebration yesterday! May God bless their marriage and their lives together.

By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually,

that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name. Hebrews 13:15
