The footpath closure is required to allow replacement of the building awning and to prevent conflict between the public and on-site building works.

Motorists and pedestrians are requested to pay particular attention to the warning signposting and barricades provided.

All enquiries concerning the temporary footpath closure can be directed to Council on (02) 6736 6001.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE Naas Street, Tenterfield

In accordance with Section 115 of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given by Tenterfield Shire Council as the Roads Authority that Naas Street from Pelham Street to Duncan Street will be closed to traffic on Monday 28th May 2018 between 7.00am and 4.30pm inclusive. It is suggested that prior to the interruption, affected residents fill sufficient containers for drinking and sanitation purposes for the expected duration of the “no supply” period.

Once the water supply has been re-established, residents are advised to run taps for a few minutes to clear the line of any dirty water that may be present, particularly before washing clothes or prior to drinking.
