Your Questions - Answered

As an OEM, am I able to purchase product beyond the standard product offering?Q

A Absolutely, current platforms can be customized to meet individual requirements, whether you have aesthetic or performance criteria that must be met, or both. Alternatively, completely new designs can also be created to meet more specific needs.

Can customized performance parameters be targeted and then incorporated into the final product design?Q

A Yes, this can be done and would be part of the initial project design requirements discussion.

Are the membrane dryers available without housing?Q

A Definitely, the membranes are available as individual membrane bundles or modules that are supplied without housing.

Can I send my current membrane dryer to BEKO Technologies for base line testing and evaluation?Q

A Yes, incumbent membranes can be supplied to BEKO Technologies as part of the overall evaluation process. In fact, we encourage potential customers to do so in order to provide the most fair and accurate comparison as part of our proposal.

Does BEKO Technologies have the ability to produce prototypes of custom designs?Q

A Yes, once a design concept has been established our team can provide prototypes of the custom design for evaluation and testing. We utilize a state-of-the-art SolidWorks system and 3D printing technology we can react quickly to your prototyping needs.

Does BEKO Technologies provide technical solutions and design input if I have a new project I’m working on?Q

A Yes, our engineering and project management team can assist at the very earliest stages in the design process in order to provide the best possible solution for your particular project. In fact, we prefer to be involved as early as possible.

Q

A

Why would I choose BEKO Technologies and membrane technology for my application?

Typically a project will have several stages where air treatment is required and in order to attain optimal results from generation to the point-of-use, more than one type of product will be needed. Our engineering and project team can design, assemble and supply the widest variety of air treatment, condensate technology and instrumentation products in the industry providing you a single source of supply with ideal product integration. Furthermore, our expertise includes all dryer types, and as a manufacturer of desiccant, membrane and refrigerant dryers you are assured that we will supply the most suitable choice for your project. In which case, membranes are often preferred because their outlet pressure dew point is very easy to tailor and can cover a wide range of dew point suppression. In addition, membranes are usually 2 to 10 times smaller in size, have no moving parts, require no electricity and are able to operate at flow rates less than 0.5 scfm. Whatever your needs may be, we’re certain we have a solution for your application.

1 The stock membrane element used in our own pre-configured membrane dryers is often the perfect choice for OEMs and provides quick integration into an existing housing with little to no additional engineering required.

2 The addition of a customized shell around the membrane element enhances the temperature and pressure handling performance, in addition to making the unit easy to handle. This configuration also includes a custom O-ring groove.

3 Low cost / high volume parts are easily achieved using custom injection molded parts and are ideal for either humidification or dehumidification applications. This example features an accessible purge air stream for capture or routing.

4 Complete units with 100% custom designs make for the easiest and tightest product integration. Here you see a custom machined housing for a horizontal installation that has been designed as zero purge with integrated filtration and is ready to accept a condensate management solution.

5 Permeable membrane fiber can also be used without any housing in a loose “fiber bundle” that is ideal for both dehumidification and humidification applications, and offers highly flexible installation options.

6 Super compact, all inclusive design with integrated pre-filtration and drain that includes a customized housing, inlet, outlet and purge air configuration with customized connections specifically for the application requirements.

Another low cost / high volume option is the rectangular cross-section design in a simple ABS and aluminum housing. The design is flexible in that it can be used either vertically or horizontally, and is also suitable for low pressure applications.

Chain of Quality

Incoming Quality Inspection

Both raw materials and materials that are in process are subject to constant quality inspections and tests during the membrane pro-duction life cycle. All of which are included in our ISO 9001 certified quality management system ensuring that all of our prod-ucts are of superior quality.

Fully Engineered Products

The membrane technology used is exclusive to BEKO Technologies and has been developed and refined using our long term experience as a permeable fiber manufacturer. This expertise allows us to rely less on external support and to develop tightly controlled, long term relationships with our suppliers.

Performance Tested to Your Specifications

From the initial concept and design or from data gathered during testing and evaluation, your performance criteria and application needs will serve as the base line we aim to exceed. Our approach and ultimate goal is to provide you with a solution that is cost effective, tailored to your needs and provides real additional value to the products you offer your customers.

High Level Traceability

Throughout the production process, all materials that are in process are tracked and the operator recorded all the way through to the finished goods. In which case, each membrane bundle receives its own unique barcode that can be traced all the way back to the raw materials. Custom barcoding for OEMs is also available providing a seamless transition from our plant to yours.
