Jeans/pants should be loose fitting and move around the body. There should be no visible curves, especially around the thighs.
However, no pants should be rolled up to make them capris/shorter leg. If they are too long and drag the ground, then the student can roll them up slightly, but the top curves of the shoes and the ankles should not be visible.
