Home of the traditional Casino of San Marcos’s Fair, located near the Historical

Center, this enclosure is consolidated as a suitable place to hold Congresses and

Conventions in the City. With more than 5,000 m2 of surface and with capacity

for more than 4,000 people, it has 8 rooms, an auditory and an esplanade.

Casa del tradicional Casino de la Feria de San Marcos, ubicado cerca del Centro

Histórico de la Ciudad, éste recinto se ha consolidado como el lugar idóneo para

realizar congresos y convenciones en la Ciudad. Con una superficie de más de

5,000 m2 y con capacidad para más de 4,000 personas, cuenta con 8 salas, un

auditorio y una explanada.

Aguascalientes fue un centro ferrocarrilero de gran trascendencia en México

la cual data de finales de 1800. Ésta Estación fue construida en 1911, por el

Ingeniero Italiano G.M. Buzzo bajo un estilo Colonial Californiano. Este edificio

es un claro ejemplo de la arquitectura ferrocarrilera que nos transporta a inicios

del siglo XX.

Aguascalientes was a Railroad center of great transcendency in Mexico which dates

of late 1800´s. This Station was built in 1911, by the Italian Engineer G.M. Buzzo who

gave it a Californian Colonial style. This building is a clear example of the Railroad

architecture that transports us to the beginning of the XX Century.

Situado en un área histórica del Ferrocarril Mexicano, este Taller fue testigo

de la construcción de la primera máquina orgullosamente mexicana: “La

Cuarenta”. Este espacio multimodal es un lugar perfecto para exposiciones que

buscan integrar la versatilidad del recinto moderno con vestigios de un pasado

histórico.

Located in a historical area of the Mexican Railroad, this worshop was witness

of the construction of the first proudly Mexican machine: “The Forty”. This

multimodal space is a perfect place for exhibitors who are looking to integrate

the versatility of the modern enclosure with vestiges of a historical past.

Impresionante estructura de 1.5 hectáreas localizada en el área ferial del barrio

de San Marcos, es el marco ideal para la realización de eventos artísticos

masivos y exposiciones.

Impressive structure of 1.5 hectares located in the fair area of San Marcos’

neighborhood, is the ideal environment for the realization of massive artistic

events and exhibitions.

MUSEO DESCUBRE / DISCOVER MUSEUM

Museo Interactivo de Ciencia y Tecnología. Cuenta con 3 salas para 25 personas,

una sala para 60 personas, un Auditorio para 70 personas, una sala Imax con

310 butacas para conferencias, un patio central de 902 m2 para 700 personas y

4,500 m2 en jardines para eventos sociales.

Interactive Museum of Science and Technology. It has 3 halls for 25 people, 1 hall

for 60 people, an Auditory for 70 people, an Imax Auditory with 310 armchairs for

conferences, a central patio of 902 m2 for 700 people and 4,500 m2 in gardens

for social events.

Obra del Arquitecto Abraham Zabludowsky. Su diseño arquitectónico es de estilo

modernista y es considerado el máximo escenario para promover la cultura y el

arte en la ciudad. La planta alta de la sala consiste en una galería y seis palcos, cada

uno con capacidad para seis espectadores. Está equipada con aire acondicionado,

sonido e iluminación digital, y un escenario tiene de 15 metros de ancho y 13 de

profundidad.

It was built by Architect Abraham Zabludowsky. It´s architectural design is a modern

style and is considered the maximum scenario to promote the culture and the art

in the city. The upper floor consists on a gallery and six theater boxes, each one

with a capacity for six spectators. It is equipped with air condition, digital sound,

digitalized illumination and a stage of 15 meters wide and 13 meters deep.

El Teatro finalizo su construcción en 1885, año en el que fue inaugurado con la

obra dramática “La Muerte Civil”. Su estilo es neoclásico y fue rehabilitado en 1914.

El Teatro Morelos alcanzó celebridad cuando se dieron cita los representantes de

los Carrancistas, Villistas y Zapatistas con el propósito de evitar el rompimiento y

elaborar un programa de gobierno nacional, estableciendo la Soberana Convención

Revolucionaria.

The Theater was finished in 1885, year in which it was inaugurated with the play

“The Civil Death”. Its style is neoclassical an was rehabilitated in 1914. The Morelos

Theater reached celebrity when the representatives of the Carrancistas, Pancho Villa

Supporters and Zapatistas in order to avoid a rupture and elaborate a national

government’s program, establishing the Revolutionary Convention.

Se ubica dentro del conjunto del Barrio de San Marcos (Área de la Feria).

Remodelado en el 2006, el lugar cuenta con uno de los mejores adaptaciones

acústicas de la república, además de aire lavado, sonido, iluminación digital

y cocina. En este recinto se realizan obras de teatro, conciertos musicales y

proyecciones cinematográficas.

It is located inside the San Marcos’s Neighborhood (Fair Area). Remodeled in 2006,

the place has one of the best acoustic adaptations in México, besides washed air,

sound, digital illumination and cooking facilities. In this enclosure, plays, musical

concerts and film projections are carried out.

Aguascalientes comenzó a desarrollarse a partir de la Plaza Mayor, hoy Plaza de la Patria, donde se encuentra Palacio de Gobierno y Palacio Municipal que datan del siglo XVIII.
