Access to care has always been a major problem for some patients in our state. Luckily we live in a region where there are many of our colleagues around and our patients have little difficulty getting seen by a medical professional in any field. spectacle correction which was provided to the patients free of charge. Patients that were not able to be seen during the event will have t h e c h a n c e t o r e c e i v e a g i f t certificate from VSP

for an exam and pair of glasses from a local provider.

This was a great event in a very beautiful part of California that I have never been to before so I jumped at the chance to volunteer with the event. It has been great to see many of theses events pop up over the past few months. I would like to continue to get SVOS doctors the opportunity to volunteer as much as they would like. So pay attention for future announcements and information about those opportunities.

I hope every one has a great holiday season and end of the year. We’ll see everyone again in January.

Cheers,

Brian Park ODSVOS President 2017-18
