Sensory friendly time
Glenorchy Library is starting a Sensory friendlytime in the library on Fridays 5:15pm – 6:15pm.
We are reducing bright lights and sounds to caterfor people who may benefit from a low sensorylibrary experience.
Everyone is welcome during this time, although weask that you consider other clients in the library forphone calls and conversations.

Sing along to your favouritekids’ songs and nurseryrhymes, and hear yourfavourite stories!
StorytimeTuesdays at 10:30am
Rock & Rhyme is a fun, free 30 minute lap-sit session for parents, carersand their babies. It is ideal for babies up to 2 years of age and includes lotsof fun songs, action rhymes and stories. Younger children love singing,action rhymes and simple stories. These help to develop their listening,memory and word skills.
Storyime is a free 30 minute session which includes stories, rhymes andaction songs. Sessions are aimed at preschoolers aged 2-5 years. Readingis a free and fun family activity. Sharing books with your child helpsdevelop their listening, memory and language skills.
