October brought the much-awaited grand opening of the AC Hotel!
Representatives of Winegardner & Hammons, Western Southern Financial Group, Eagle Realty Corp. and Marriott AC Hotels cut the ribbon with officials from City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.

PUBLIC PARTIES CONSTRUCTION
CB Connector turns the corner onto Second Street, approaching the Cincinnati Cyclones Station at The Banks.
Cars approach the traffic circle at Theodore M. Berry Way and the Roebling Bridge terminus on a foggy October morning.
Legislation and agreements for both phase I and phase II of the Variable Message Signage project for the interstate will be processed through the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
Lighted teeter-totters entertained young and old alike during BLINK.
Freedom Way came alive with BLINK, a four-day weekend of artistic light displays from The Banks to Over the Rhine and back again.

BUDGET
All Public Parties work remained on schedule.
The Public Parties project work remained within budget.
Phase IIIA budget expended totaled 84.54% of the $29.3 million total through October 31, 2017.
Since the Project’s inception in 2008 through December 31, 2016, The Banks Public Parties construction crews recorded 489,163 work-hours without a lost-time incident.
Developer’s Phase IIA and Phase IIB construction crews worked a total of 682,241 hours without a lost-time incident from April 28, 2015 through December 31, 2016.
AC Hotel construction logged a total of 74,358 hours without a lost-time incident through October 31, 2017.
Public Parties’ Phase IIIA construction crews recorded a total of 104,288 work-hours without a lost-time incident July 1, 2015–June 30, 2017.

PARKSA bright autumn day at The Banks—made better by a walk along The Ohio River Trail. Cincinnati Parks has hired Universal as Construction Manager at Risk for the marina planned for the foot of Main Street. Construction is likely to begin late spring/early summer 2018.
