Sing unto the Lord a new song. Sing unto the Lord all the earth. Declare His glory among the nations.
Let everything that hath breath, everything that hath breath, let everything that hath breath, praise the Lord!
Magnify the Lord with me and exalt His name together. Hallelujah, bless His name for He’s worthy to be praised.
Clap your hands all ye people. Shout with a voice of triumph! For the mighty Lord is great and greatly to be praised.
Let everything that hath breath. Everything that hath breath. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!
Praise Him. The Lord. Give Him the highest praise. Praise Him. The Lord. Praise Him.
Come on and praise the Lord. Let’s all praise His name.
Praise Him! Praise Him with timbrel, praise Him with dance. Stand up on your feet and just lift up holy hands.
Sing “Hallelujah,” praise His holy name. For the Lord is worthy to be praised! Let’s praise the Lord.
You oughta, you oughta Praise Him!

Reformation Day, Sunday, October 29
Each year many churches observe Reformation Day on October 31st or the preceding
Sunday, remembering the day Martin Luther first made his 95 theses public in 1517. This year
marks a significant moment in the life of the whole Christian Church: the 500th anniversary of
the beginning of the Protestant Reformation.
BLOCK Party SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29 (5:00pm-6:30pm) First UMC joins together with local area churches to host a BLOCK Party for the children of the churches and surrounding community featuring Trunk or Treat, hotdogs & drinks, games & prizes, and LIVE music.
What can you do to help? Each church is encouraging their members to: Donate lots of CANDY! Drop off at the church office. Decorate your trunk (car, van, truck, or use a pop-up canopy),
park in State Street parking lot, dress up (if you want to), and give out candy (donated by local churches).
Sunday, November 5
(2:00pm) Fellowship Hall You, your family, friends and neighbors have an opportunity to be the hands of
Jesus when First UMC hosts a Rise Against Hunger event. Rise Against Hunger
(formerly known as Stop Hunger Now) is a non-profit hunger relief organization
that distributes food to the world’s most vulnerable. With everyone and every
age working and having fun together, we will package over 10,000 meals that will
be weighed, sealed and boxed to be sent to people all over the world who don’t
receive enough nutrition to lead an active, healthy life. Please mark your calendars
now for Sunday, November 5th, invite your family members and neighbors to
join you, and plan to be a part of a hands-on mission experience.
