Kristie Mumford, Administrator 814-772-6608 Ridgmont Road September Entertainers: Last month, residents and guests were entertained by Jerry Cole and Kathy Jordan. Ridgmont hosted a fall family social on September 12, 2017. Residents, families, and staff enjoyed refreshments and visited. On September 21st, Ridgmont held an apple harvest celebration with seasonal refreshments and bingo. Elections were held on September 12, 2017 for Resident Council. John Viola was elected as Council President. Nancy Kucenski was elected as Vice-President. John and Nancy are pictured below. The Resident Council will continue to meet quarterly. Resident Council Upcoming Events October 10: Ridgmont Residents will enjoy a hayride at 2:00 pm to celebrate the Autumn season. October 11: Inspirational speaker, Lori, will join us in the activity room at 2:00 pm. October 20: Ridgmont will host a Paint ‘n Sip for residents, families, the Village tenants, and the general public. Please contact Diane Carobine at 772- 6608 for more information or stop by the activity bulletin board at Ridgmont as we will post additional details as they become available. October 26: Halloween Bingo at 6:30 pm in the dining hall. Residents and families are welcome! October 31: Ridgway High School will perform “The Commedia Pinocchio” at 10:30 am in the dining hall. All residents, the Village tenants, families, and friends of Ridgmont are invited to join us for this special presentation. October 31: Ridgmont’s Halloween Party will be at 2:00 pm. Residents will enjoy cookies and scream milkshakes! We will continue our Halloween festivities at 5:30 pm with trick or treating at Ridgmont. Employee Spotlight The potholes on Ridgmont Road between North Central and Ridgmont Personal Care have been repaired! A special thank you to Rick, Mike, and Dave (maintenance for The Village, Ridgmont, and North Central) for their coordinated efforts to ensure this project was completed. We also wish to thank our tenants and their families for their patience and understanding as we worked to resolve this issue. Diane Carobine, Activity Assistant for the past year at Ridgmont, has accepted the position of Activity Director. We are excited to have Diane’s positive outlook and organizational skills leading our activities program. Welcome Doris Banks to our direct care team! Doris previously worked as a Resident Aide for several years before heading our activity program. She has chosen to return to her roots in direct care. Thank you, Doris, for your exemplary attitude and bringing your caring and dedicated heart to our direct care team! Tonya Gillaugh is Ridgmont’s new Resident Care Coordinator. Tonya is a licensed nurse with both skilled nursing and personal care experience at facilities in Dubois. Ridgmont Road September Entertainers: Last month, residents and
