Sales Incentive Programs for Staff


▶Less than 30% of those completing the survey offer an incentive to their staff for referring a member to CoOportunity Health.



▶What’s Being Offered As an Incentive? • One-time $25 referral bonus. • Some are paying a higher incentive if

the EE fills out the online referral form. • Others will be budgeting incentives

for 2014.



▶What Improvements Could Be Made?• Adding a comment/memo field to the

referral page. • Adding a “best time to call” field as

well.



▶104 referrals received as of 10/15• 34 calls• 70 emails/website referrals

▶All referrals have been contacted and requested information has been provided. • Rates have been given to 25 referrals

▶The Marketplaces… well, aren’t working.

Overall Credit Union Sales Results


▶Most of the online referrals have been able to give an employee name.

▶Only 4 of the 34 call-ins were able to give an employee name. • Most call-ins were from the

statement stuffers.

▶ So, what’s working?

• Referrals are well-informed and very interested to receive the information from the GBL team!



▶ What could we improve?

• Expectations for response time.

• What the 1-888 number should be used for.

• Really emphasize this program is best for those that are uninsured or that have private insurance (not group health.)



▶ New Seminar Guidelines• Group OR Individual• You don’t want to combine your

audiences. • The presentations for these two

audiences will be very different.

Ideas On How to Impact Members


▶ New Seminar Guidelines• The focus right now should be on

individual seminars. • With the Marketplace not working

right now, those should start in November at the earliest.

• There are 5 GBL staff members that will be able to do these seminars.



▶ New Seminar Guidelines• Guarantee Good Attendance• Collect RSVPs and remind those

that registered about the location, time, etc.

• Minimum of 20 employer groups OR 30 individuals.



▶ New Seminar Guidelines• Scheduling with GBL• Give GBL at least 3 weeks notice to
