Greetings!Wow, it sure doesn’t seem like it has been 9 years ago that we were welcoming you to our first Buckles and Banners Production Sale! First thing that I want to express is how incredibly humbling and fun it has been to see and hear the success stories from all of the cattle we have sold. Next, Thank You!! If it weren’t for the amazing customers, families and friends we couldn’t continue to have this event.

Now to the cattle! We are offering a top notch group of open show heifer prospects and if this isn’t the best group, it sure has to be one of the best groups we have ever offered! We have a young donor cow in the offering and an incredible set of bred heifers. I’d like to sincerely thank all of our guest consignors over the years. They are committed to bringing us top notch stock every year and are always willing to help out and make this sale the success that it has become. I feel like I get out and about a fair amount and once in a great while I see an animal that I can’t stop thinking about. Well this was one of those times, so we purchased this March purebred from Bloomberg’s and Sullivan’s. I absolutely think this is an ELITE fe-male. It is extremely hard to build one perfectly sound with this much extra mass and punch. We are offering to sell full possession and show rights but will be retaining 50% interest with the option to double down on the hammer price and own all of her. Breeding GuaranteeCattle will sell under the standard terms and conditions recommended by the American Simmental Association.

We guarantee all livestock sold are sound breeders. However, the heifers that are shown can often be fed to an extreme level of obesity for the purpose of exhibition. In those circumstances, the heifers are often not allowed to be bred in ideal conditions due to the priority of continuous exhibition and are typically bred later to lengthen their possibility of exhibition . Due to this we will hold the feeder/owner responsible for any reproductive problems and no longer feel responsible to guar-antee that individual heifer. In the rare case this was to occur, the Buckles and Banners consignors will make an attempt to assist and help you breed the heifer through the following two breeding seasons .

Also, all bred females are sold under the condition “safe in calf,” as attested by a licensed veterinarian and sell with no fur-ther guarantee. The ultrasound results reported are as accurate as possible, but are not guaranteed. No guarantee is given that bred females will deliver a live calf. The buyer will be given a 24 hour option to have a licensed veterinarian examine the female before she leaves the sale premises.

Sexed semen lots come with no guarantee. We only guarantee the female was exposed to sexed semen.
