Ms. Stephanie Dorah is in her first year with MCPS and is our new School Financial Specialist. She loves travel and education and has combined the two by earning her Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering at How-ard University (East Coast), her Master in Engineering Management at Stanford University (West Coast), and another Master in Business Administration at the University of Michigan (Middle). She has over 21 years of experience in Finance and has spent several years working in Finance in higher education at two of her three alma maters (Michigan and Howard).
Although born in Massachusetts (her dad was getting his graduate degree at UMass) she was raised in Silver Spring, MD and graduated from Paint Branch High School. Ms. Dorah loves her kids (she has three, the youngest is graduating from Blair this spring), travel, and photography. She has almost completed her goal of running a half marathon in all 50 states plus DC and has taken plenty of pictures along the way. Her 50th state will be the Maui Half Marathon in Hawaii in January 2020.
Ms. Dorah is very excited to be part of the Bulldog family and looking forward to working with this great community.
