To learn to identify a variety of different National Sporting Facilities around the country. National sport centres are provided by a government agency called Sport England, although sometimes they are managed by private companies.

They provide high quality sporting and residential facilities and focus on providing people with the opportunity to train and compete at the highest level.

Each centre provides state of the art equipment, support facilities and access to the top coaches. Task 1: Research Sport EnglandWhat is it?Who runs it?Who funds it?What does it do for sport in England?
