Agro-livestock waste

• At farming they use many kind of agricultural chemicals.

• Vermicide, germicide, herbicide, antiseptic etc, there has more than 400.

• So when raining, rain pass a land, rain contain agricultural chemical, then that rain finally goes to river or ocean. Then ocean polluted by that rain.

• Excretions of livestock contains phosphorus and nitrogen, that chemicals pollute a lot. It happening bad smell and make perfect condition to grow noxious insects.

Ocean waste• After fishing, anglers throw break fishing

rods in the ocean, then it is swept away, then it goes to the ocean.

• Fishermen throw break nets in the ocean.• After summering, visitors throw waste in

the sea, all the wastes go to the ocean.• Balloon and plastic bags are also very

dangerous. When they drift at the ocean, then fishes or sea turtles think it is food.

• One thing that very fun is these wastes goes to one way of ocean, so they make a waste road, and fishes and sea birds live at there and lays eggs and spawn. It means, that waste road is the place where they were born and brought up.

Industrial waste water

• Industrial waste water has more possibility to lethal dangerous toxicity than agro-livestock waste, so more dangerous.

• It contains more than 5 million chemicals.

• Most dangerous chemical in industrial waste water is cadmium, arsenic, cyanogens, hydrargyrum, phenol, and plum bum.

Submersion of oil tanker

When oil tanker sinking, oil will flow into the sea, that oil become arranged in strata on water. Then oxygen can’t permeate in water, so sea living things can’t breathe.

Parched the foreshore and the lives are going to die.

Result of Red tide• If you eat a living

things (fish, marine, etc…) that has virulence because of red tide, you can die, get a paralysis or you can get an amnesia.

According to British scientists, they discovered that microscopic pieces of plastic can be found

everywhere in the oceans, even inside plankton, the keystone of the marine food chain. Then the

ecosystem will not safe anymore. 

Plastic use today

The people usually buy and use plastic bags when they shopping. In addition most of productions are made by plastic such as bottled water, fast food packaging, furniture, syringes, computers and computer diskettes, packing materials, garbage bags and so much more. The incredible number The number that we use plastics is really

unbelievable! Two million plastic beverage bottles, the number is used in the US every five minutes. Also 60,000 plastic bags, the number are used in the US every five seconds. A June 2006 a United Nations Environmental Program report estimated that there is average of 46,000 pieces of plastic debris floating on or near the surface of every square mile of ocean.

How can we make ocean to be better than now

You might think that we can’t help ocean by ourselves, because we are just students, so do not have lots of money and we will little bit difficult to buy expensive machines without any projects to earn lots of money. However what we are going to introduce are quite simple to do all of you. I’d want you to follow the few things to save the ocean. Don’t be afraid or bothered to do it. It’s like a piece of cake!!

What we should do for ocean• 1. If we choose carefully when shopping so as

not to bring home more packaging than necessary.

• 2. Now that we have recycling plants, even less will need to be binned. Tins, bottles and paper can all be delivered to the local recycling point.

• 3. Using reusable bags instead of disposable plastic bags.

• 4. Ban foam restaurant food containers and plastic shopping bags.

• 5. Avoid products with excess packaging. Buy fresh and local. Buy from bulk bins and avoid packages with individually wrapped items. Reducing excess packaging and plastics reduces marine debris!

Let’s throw garbage away in trash can.

It’s an easiest and essential step to protect ocean. There have many

trash cans on the streets, so we can throw garbage away in trash if we keep the trashes for a while. Then why it’s bad for ocean that throw rubbish away on the ground? Somebody might think it’s not relevant to ocean. However it’s very relevant to ocean directly. When it rains, trash on sidewalks and streets accumulates in the gutter and is swept into your city’s storm drain system. Most storm drain systems discharge directly into the nearest waterway, which eventually flows to the ocean. Trash may also be dumped directly into the ocean by recreational and commercial boaters, and it is often left on the beach by beach-goers. But the problem is not only that trash be dumped into the ocean, it’s harm the albatrosses, fishes and etc which have eaten the pieces of plastic.

Action plan to society

There have some storesof fast food KFC, MacDonald, Pizza Hut which pay the plastic cups.It’s a very good idea to save plastic. It’s also interdependence way betweensellers and customers. They can save the moneyand actuallyThis is the step to protect our ocean.

Action plan to culture

• Donate our time or income to conservation organizations.

• Vote for those that protect the ocean and coast • Remember that one person can make a difference.

Small accomplishments add up quicker then we might think. So volunteer with an organization or conduct our own solo beach clean-up!

• Visit our local aquarium to see ocean life close-up.

• Join a marine mammal rescue center and volunteer our time.

• Tell others about what they can do to help the sea and spread the word about cleaning up our oceans.

Our action plan 1. We decided to make bags for reduce using plastic bags.2. We found the information for making bags by ourselves.3. We discussed with the teacher who have experience of making bags.3. We designed the bags (name, color, size, texture).4. We discussed with the factory.5. We made the chart to write the name, grade and number of bag for

effective selling bags 6. We will get 4 or 5 our sample bags and we might know about exact cost for

1 bag.7. We make our own cost to sell our bags to students.8. We will ask to Mr. Davis for selling bags to students.9. We will collect the money for bags from the people who want to buy bags.

It’s due on January 20th.10. We will decide whether buy 150 bags after count the people who want buy

bags.

11. We will donate our money to some organization for helping our ocean.
