Advanced Connectivity

The fx3000 is network ready with standard Ethernet and

a high speed USB 2.0 or Parallel Interface. This MFP

delivers advanced color scanning and next generation fax

technology for improved document handling capabilities.

The fx3000 ships standard with powerful features such as

Internet fax, Scan-to-email, Scan-to-FTP or simply scan-

ning to a network folder. Additionally, the device utilizes a

remote usage counter with automatic e-mail set-up. This

allows the user to track usage and printing costs with ease

while eliminating time-consuming traditional call-ins and

meter reading methods.

Ease of Use

At Océ Imagistics, we’re known for making our multifunc-

tional devices easy to use. The fx3000 is no different. Every

feature is prominently displayed on the operator panel. Under

the cover, a legal-sized platen provides the capability of copy-

ing, scanning, or faxing from books or oversized documents.

This MFP offers auto duplexing capabilities and an auto

document feeder to improve workflow. Powered with LDAP

support, it allows the user to look up addresses stored on the

network. Additionally, the fx3000 can store up to 300 numbers

in memory for easy recall. Now managing your documents

can be faster, more efficient and cost effective at the same

time. It’s a simple solution inside a space-saving design.

Increased Productivity

Every office, whether large or small, wants to keep their

productivity levels high. The fx3000, offers a 33.6Kbps fax

modem including Super G3 with JBIG compression for faster

fax transmission. At a speed of 30ppm, the fx3000 delivers

quality output with 1200 x 600 dpi resolution. Although it

has a small footprint, the fx3000 can quickly execute larger

jobs and holds up to 550 sheets in paper capacity. Fast and

efficient, the fx3000 employs many features to further increase

productivity such as fax forwarding, duplex scan, copy and

print as well as a remote usage counter and a 50-sheet ADF.

Additionally, the fx3000 ships standard with PaperPort® 9.0

for easy document management and includes OCR capability.

It’s all built into a compact desktop to create new opportunities

for your small office or busy workgroup.

Enhanced Security

The fx3000 not only offers high speed print, copy, scan and fax

but protects your critical data with a number of security solutions

designed to suit your small office needs. Password protection is

offered for document and device security and the feature lock grants

only designated users the ability to change settings. Additional security

measures can restrict access to FTP folders to those users with permis-

sion for using files posted to FTP sites. Lastly, the Secure Receive and

Secure Print both feature password permission.
