    OUTBACK ZACK wearing a red bushmans shirt, worn khaki cargoshorts, a yellow bandanna on his forehead, knee high thickgreen socks, and ankle high leather boots addresses theaudience in his usual overly-hyper, caffeinated way.

    OUTBACK ZACKGDay mates! My names Outback Zackand Im an explorer from the LandDown Under! Today Im going on anadventure in my home territory, theGreat Outback of Australia. Wouldyou like to go exploring withme?...You dont sound very excited.Do you want to go exploring withme!...

    Outback Zack cringes, covers his ear, and pretends to beblasted backwards by the sound.

    OUTBACK ZACKWow, I think I heard you that time!First we need to practice ouradventure skills. We need topractice climbing, swimming, andmarching on our bums! Will you allpractice those things with me?...

    Outback Zack blasted backwards by sound, covers his ear.

    OUTBACK ZACKYou sure can be loud! First letspractice the most important skillof all, marching on our bums!Everyone ready!...One! Two! Three!Four!

    Outback Zack begins alternating kicking each foot up intothe air, while remaining seated on the ground.

    OUTBACK ZACKOne! Two! Three! Four! One! Two!Three! Four! Left! Left! Left!Right! Right! Left! Were marching

    to the Outback! Were gonna bringsomething back! Left! Left! Left!Right! Left! Ok! Great jobmarching explorers! Now letspractice our climbing skills.Everyone ready? Ok.

    Outback Zack reaches up with his left arm, then the right,and continues this climbing motion.

    OUTBACK ZACKGreat job climbing explorers! Nowlets practice our swimming skills,and remember explorers -rule numberone of exploring the water is thatthere always be a big explorer nearby!

    Outback Zack deliberately reaches straight forward with hisleft hand.

    OUTBACK ZACKFirst reach way out!

    Outback Zack reaches out with his right hand.

    OUTBACK ZACKFirst reach way out! Then pull backin! Then pull back in! Now we canswim! Now we can swim! Great jobswimming explorers! I think we areready to go exploring! Would any ofyou like to explore Ayers Rock? Ok

    Great! Lets all march on our bumsto Ayers Rock!

    Outback Zack begins kicking his legs for the marching song.

    EXT. AYERS ROCK - DAY

    OUTBACK ZACKOk, lets stop here at Ayers Rock.Everyone say Ayers Rock on thecount of three. One. Two. Three.

    Ayers Rock! Lets try that one moretime. Lets all say Ayers Rock, onthe count of three. One. Two.Three. Ayers Rock! Spot on! AyersRock is the largest mountain in allof Australia! Wait a minute, wouldany of you, like to meet akangaroo?... Oh goodie! Sometimesmy friend Kangaroo Lou likes totake naps behind Ayers Rock. Youall wait here while I take a peakbehind Ayers Rock to see ifKangaroo Lou is there.

    Zack tiptoes up to Ayers Rock and peaks behind the rock. Hequickly pulls his head back towards the audience inlaughter.

    OUTBACK ZACKKangaroo Lou is sleeping.

    Zack takes another peak, then draws back towards theaudience in more laughter.

    OUTBACK ZACKKangaroo Lou is dreaming.

    Zack looks again behind Ayers Rock, then back to theaudience.

    OUTBACK ZACKHes dreaming about hopping. Ha ha!Kangaroo Lou. Wake up Kangaroo Lou,its Outback Zack and some explorerfriends.

    Zack stares behind the rock for a moment, then back to theaudience.

    OUTBACK ZACKExplorers unite! I think KangarooLou is in deep sleep. On the countof three lets wake him up. On thecount of three lets all say, wakeup Kangaroo Lou! One! Two! Three!

    Zack looks behind Ayers Rock again.

    Kangaroo Lou bashfully comes out from behind Ayers Rock, hespeaks three times faster than anyone in a raspy voice.

    OUTBACK ZACKWow, did you all hear that?Kangaroo Lou thinks hes not

    special. Is Kangaroo Lou special?

    AUDIENCEYeah!

    OUTBACK ZACKKangaroo Lou, youre super specialtimes two! Why are you blue?

    Kangaroo Lou jumps for joy.

    Kangaroo Lou points to the left.

    OUTBACK ZACKDid you hear that mates? Which waydid the boomerang go?...Spot onmates! What did the boomerang looklike Kangaroo Lou?

    KANGAROO LOUIt was purple with polka dots!

    OUTBACK ZACKOk mates lets all have a lookaround for Kangaroo Lous purplepolka dotted boomerang. Wait aminute! Do you know what aboomerang looks like? It looks likeone of my favorite letters in thealphabet. Its a very very coolletter. Thats right its the letterV. This is my own boomerang. Doesanyone know how a boomerang issuppose to work? Spot on mates! Youthrow it way out into the sky...

    Zack throws the boomerang and watches it soar, then returnback to his hand abruptly.

    OUTBACK ZACK...and it comes right back to you.You dont even need a friend tocatch it and throw it back, like aball. Lets all look way to theleft.

    Zack looks to the left while shading his eyes with his hand.

    OUTBACK ZACKDid you all hear that? Which waydid the boomerang go?...

    Zack looks at Ayers Rock.

    OUTBACK ZACKThats right explorers it went overAyers Rock and if we are here, andwe need to go that way, what do youthink we need to do to getthere?...

    Zack pauses then begins the march song.

    OUTBACK ZACKThats right explorers march! Left,left, left, right, left. Were

    marching to the Outback! Weregonna bring something back! Left,left, left, right, left.

    EXT. FOREST EUCALYPTUS TREE - DAY

    Zack stands at the base of a EUCALYPTUS TREE.

    OUTBACK ZACKAlright mates hault here! Letshave a look around. Lets look wayto the left.

    Zack looks to the left while shielding his eyes.

    OUTBACK ZACKLets look way to the right.

    Zack looks to the right again shielding the eyes.

    Zack slumps in despair.

    OUTBACK ZACKWait a minute! This looks just likethe Eucalyptus tree that my friendPaula the Koala likes to hang outin. Lets all say Eucalyptus tree onthe count of three. One. Two.Three. Eucalyptus tree. Maybe if wefind my friend Paula shell be ableto help us find the boomerang.

    Zack flinches then freezes.

    OUTBACK ZACKShhh! Does anyone hear that? Itsounds like my friend Paula theKoala!

    Zack searches.

    OUTBACK ZACKPaula! Paula! Is that you? Paula?It sounds like shes in trouble!Paula where are you!

    Zack looks around frantically, then freezes and gasps whilestaring down at a large fallen log whose thickness is theheight of Outback Zacks thigh.

    OUTBACK ZACKIt looks like Paula is stuck underthis log!

    Zack scurries behind the fallen log, and barely gets hisarms around the large log.

    OUTBACK ZACKRemember mates always lift withyour legs not your back! Ok, Imgoing to try to lift this log offof Paula! Stay back mates! This isfar too dangerous for youngexplorers.

    Zack squats behind the log and tries to lift.

    OUTBACK ZACKUh!

    The log doesnt budge.

    OUTBACK ZACK

    Hold on Paula! Im going to liftthis log!

    Zack squats and tries to lift the log again, this timeOutback Zack flutters his lips in exhale, creating a fartingsound.

    OUTBACK ZACKOh wow mates! This log is reallyheavy! Hold on Paula!

    Zack attempts another lift, producing another farting soundfrom his lips.

    A Koala Bear emerges from the Eucalyptus tree above OutbackZack who is oblivious to the Koalas presence.

    Zack doesnt budge the log.

    The Koala starts watching Outback Zack and snickeringsilently from above.

    OUTBACK ZACKOk, mates! One more try and Ishould have it! Uhhhh!

    Zack gets red in the face, lets out a huge farting soundwhile exhaling from his mouth, and falls over.

    The log moves a couple inches. Outback Zack scrambles tolook for Paula under the log. The Koala in the tree abovebegins laughing out loud.

    OUTBACK ZACKCrikey Mates! I moved the log butPaula wasnt under there!

    The koala snickers silently from above.

    OUTBACK ZACKI dont know if well ever findPaula or the boomerang.

    Zack slumps.

    Zack jolts to point off to the left, then shades his eyes toobserve the area.

    OUTBACK ZACKTheres nothing over there...Oh youmean over there?

    Zack jolts pointing to the right and shades his eyes.

    OUTBACK ZACKOh Im sorry, you mean behind me?

    Zack spins to look behind himself.

    OUTBACK ZACKUp? Up?

    Zack looks straight up towards the sky, avoiding seeing theKoala. Then rotates, and is startled, jumping and shriekingin soprano upon sight of the Koala.

    OUTBACK ZACKCrikey!

    Zack covers his heart, breathes heavily, then chuckles.

    OUTBACK ZACKIts just my friend Paula theKoala. Does everyone remember why

    we are out here?... Thats right,were looking for the purple polkadotted boomerang. Wait a minute!Ive got an idea! Lets all askPaula if shes seen the boomerang.On the count of three lets allsay, have you seen the boomerang?Ready? One. Two. Three. Have youseen the boomerang?

    Paula speaks in a snobbish helium voice.

    PAULA THE KOALAMy name is Paula the Koala and Ionly speak to other koalas! Humph!

    Paula crosses her arms in smug fashion.

    OUTBACK ZACKCrikey mates! That wasnt very nicewas it?...It sounds like Paula is

    of the koalas and help us out! Doeseveryone remember their climbingskills?...O.k. great! On the countof three lets all show ourclimbing skills to Paula! One! Two!Three! Reach up high!

    Zack extends his left arm up into the air.

    OUTBACK ZACKTowards the sky!

    Zack extends his right arm up into the air.

    OUTBACK ZACKNow we pull! Now we pull!

    Zack alternates pulling down and reaching up with each arm.

    OUTBACK ZACKNot that slow! Not that slow! Notime to rest! No time to rest!Dont step on the nest!

    Zack cringes shaking his hands downward.

    PAULA THE KOALAIm sorry! With climbing skillslike that, you clearly are friendsof the koalas! The boomerang flewover my head, and out towards thesea!

    Paula points to the left.

    OUTBACK ZACKDid you all hear that? Which waydid the boomerang go? Out towards

    the se- se- se- se-

    Zack physically shutters into silence. He looks left thenright nervously.

    OUTBACK ZACKShe didnt say se-

    Zack shutters again.

    PAULA THE KOALAYeah I said sea explorer!

    Zack shutters then shakes it out and stands tall.

    OUTBACK ZACK

    Sh! Sh! Sh! I dont like that word.I dont. I dont like the sea. Butwe dont have to go in yet. So ifwe are right here by the Eucalyptustree, and we need to get overthere, how do you think we aregoing to get there?...Thats rightmates! Marching! Does everyoneremember how to march on theirbums?...O.k. great!

    Zack begins the marching routine.

    OUTBACK ZACKOne! Two! Three! Four! One! Two!Three! Four! Left! Left! Left!Right! Right! Left! Were marchingto the Outback! Were gonna bringsomething back! Left! Left! Left!Right! Left! Ok!

    EXT. AUSTRALIAN BEACH - DAY

    OUTBACK ZACKLets stop here on the beach and

    have a look around. Does everyoneremember what we are lookingfor?...Thats right a purplepolka-dotted boomerang! Lets alllook way to the left!

    Zack shields his eyes while looking to the left.

    OUTBACK ZACKI dont see anything. Lets alllook way to the right.

    Zack looks right.

    OUTBACK ZACKDont look at the sun silly! Youlllose your sight! Crikey mates! Idont see anything. Hm. I wonder ifthe boomerang flew out of KangarooLous hand, over the Eucalyptustree that Paula the Koala was in,

    OUTBACK ZACK (contd)landed on the beach, and got buriedbeneath the sand. Lets all digdown deep in the sand and see if wecan find Kangaroo Lous boomerang!Im going to dig right here!

    Zack begins digging in the sand.

    OUTBACK ZACKCome on explorers! Keep on digging!We might even find some treasure!

    Zack continues to dig vigorously, while biting his tongue.

    OUTBACK ZACKYikes!

    Zack jumps back from the hole shrieking in soprano interror.

    OUTBACK ZACK(Whispering)

    Theres something down there mates.

    Zack slowly approaches the hole, then one hand at a timereaches down into the hole and slowly begins to dig. Hejumps back, but then reapproaches, and digs in very jumpyfashion.

    OUTBACK ZACKAh!

    Zack jumps back while screaming in soprano. He calms himselfquickly.

    OUTBACK ZACK(Whispering)

    Whatever it is, its right near thesurface!

    Zack very gently dusts away sand in the hole, then slumps indissappointment.

    OUTBACK ZACKOh, it was just a pop can. Hm. Idont know if well ever find theboomerang.

    Zack plops down in the sand facing away from the hole hedug. A soda can pops out of the hole, followed by a seaturtle who emerges just to the surface of the hole in thesand. The turtle looks around slowly.

    OUTBACK ZACKShhhh! Does anyone hear that? Itsounds like one of my animalfriends is near by! Does anyone seeanything?...Whats that? A turtle?Behind me? Behind me!

    Outback Zack spins around to see the turtle hanging out inthe hole he dug.

    OUTBACK ZACKCrikey Mates! Its just my friendMyrtle the Sea Turtle. Hey, letsall ask Myrtle if hes seen theboomerang. On the count of threelets all say, have you seen theboomerang? O.k. One. Two. Three.Have you seen the boomerang?

    MYRTLE THE SEA TURTLEGuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup!

    Myrtle pulls his head into his shell. Zack looks aroundconfused.

    OUTBACK ZACK(Politely)

    Hm. Maybe Myrtle didnt hear us.Lets ask him again. One. Two.Three. Have you seen the boomerang?

    Myrtle pokes his head out, then throws it up in the air.

    MYRTLE THE SEA TURTLEGuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup!

    Myrtle yanks his head into his shell.

    OUTBACK ZACKHm. I think Myrtle is havingtrouble understanding us. Wait aminute!

    Outback Zack taps a finger over his lips in thought.

    OUTBACK ZACKDo turtles move quickly orslowly?...Thats right slowly. Sodo you think they eat ice creamquickly or slowly?... Yeah slowly.I think we need to speak insloooooowwwwww tuuuuuuuuurtlelaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaunge

    Myrtle pulls his head into his shell, then dissappears intothe hole.

    Wait! Thank-

    Zack peers into the hole.

    OUTBACK ZACK-you. Hes gone. Welp, which waydid he say the boomerangwent?...No, no, no. Not that way!You mean it really fle- fle- flewout towards the se- se- s-, gulp! Icant say it! Im scared of thesea. AH! I said it! I said it!

    Myrtle pops out the hole.

    MYRTLE THE SEA TURTLEBoo.

    OUTBACK ZACKAhhh! Oh, its you. Why did youleave so-

    MYRTLE THE SEA TURTLE-Soooooooometimes we have tofaaaaaaaaace our feeeeeeeears inorder to grooooooooow. Guuuuup!

    Myrtle yanks his head into his shell, then dissappears intothe hole in the sand.

    OUTBACK ZACKThank you wise old turtle. Youheard him mates! We have to swimout to sea if we want to find the

    boomerang! O.k. mates the firstthing and most important thing youneed whenever swimming is an adult!Now, what else do we need to helpus float?...Did someone say

    floaties? Thats right! Everyonepull out your floaties!

    Zack whips a floatie out his pocket.

    OUTBACK ZACKNow lets blow them up!

    Zack begins blowing the floatie up, it reaches capacity, hekeeps pushing air into the swollen floatie, 44 it POPS inhis face.

    OUTBACK ZACK

    Yikes! Lets try that again.

    Zack blows up the first floatie in one breath, then thesecond and slaps them onto his arms.

    OUTBACK ZACKO.k. weve got an adult, weve gotfloaties. Is there anything else wemight need before going into theocean?... Did you say an air tank?Ok. Everyone pull out your airtanks!

    Zack produces an air tank.

    OUTBACK ZACKNow release the pressure valve!

    Zack gets blasted in the face knocking him backwards.

    OUTBACK ZACKCrikey mates! Take it easy onthose! Now put your tank on yourback!

    Zack grabs the tank by the neck and swings it from in frontof himself, up and over his head, and whacks himself in theback and back of his head with his tank. PING! Zack falls onhis face.

    OUTBACK ZACKOh, boy thats gonna leave a mark.Crikey! That really hurt mates!Phew! Whooooey! Alright, is there

    Zack fiereously covers himself with the imaginary can ofspray repellent.

    OUTBACK ZACKAlright mates, lets step out intothe ocean.

    EXT. OCEAN SURFACE - DAY

    Outback Zack stands in chest high water.

    OUTBACK ZACKO.k. mates! Does everyone remembertheir swimming skills?... Iseveryone ready to conquer thesewaves!...Its go time! O.k. go!First reach way out! First reachway out! Then pull back in! Thenpull back in! Now we can swim! Nowwe can swim! Alright explorers keepa keen eye open for the boomerang

    while we are swimming. Lets alllook way over there!

    Zack looks way to his left.

    OUTBACK ZACKI dont see anything. Lets look wayto the right!

    Zack looks to the right.

    OUTBACK ZACKDont look at the sun silly! Youlose your sight! I dont seeanything keep on swimmingexplorers! First reach way out!First reach way o- Uhhhhhhh!

    Outback Zack points toward the sky in terror.

    OUTBACK ZACKThat is the biggest wave Ive everseen! Swim to the top of the waveexplorers!

    Zack swims as fast as he can.

    OUTBACK ZACKNow, surf down the other side!

    Zack quickly extends his arms and body surfs down the wave.

    OUTBACK ZACKSpot on surfing mates! Wow, you aretrue adventurers! Crikey that wavecarried us right over the GreatBarrier Reef. Lets have a lookaround! Lets all look way to theleft!

    Zack looks left.

    OUTBACK ZACKLets all look way to the right!

    Zack looks right.

    OUTBACK ZACKDont look at the sun silly! Youlllose your sight! Hm. I dont seeanything. Wait a minute! I wonderif the purple polka dotted

    boomerang left Kangaroo Lous hand,flew over the Eucalyptus tree wherePaula the Koala lives, over thebeach where we met Myrtle the SeaTurtle, landed on top on the waterand then sank down below!

    Zack gasps and looks terrified. Then takes a deep breath andpuffs out his chest.

    OUTBACK ZACKExplorers! I think were going toneed to dive down deep! Do you allremember how to dive down deep?

    Outback Zack suggestively nods yes.

    OUTBACK ZACKNo you dont because I have taughtyou yet silly! Were gonna go up!

    Zack claps his hands together above his head to get intodiving position.

    OUTBACK ZACKAnd on the count of three weregonna dive down deep and when youdive down deep you have to make the

    speed swimming sound like thi-i-i-

    Zack vigorously shakes his head back and forth causing hischeeks to slap back and forth like a skydiver falling.
