Grayson Cole (he/him/his, they/them/their)Grayson is an 18-year-old nonbinary person. Graysonloves spending time with their friends and reading. Theywant to share their story and maybe reach someone whoneeds to hear it. ⁜

Joe Marshall (he/him/his)Joe is a 27-year-old trans man from Camas WA wholives with his pug Buttercup. He loves backpacking andbeing active and outside as much as possible. Hegraduated from the University of Washington andcurrently works in sustainable development. He is proudto be part of the queer community and lovesvolunteering with the queer youth group Triple Point inVancouver. ⁜

Joshua Thomas (he/him/his)Joshua is a social justice advocate, and currentlyemployed at Oregon Food Bank as their Equity andInclusion Coordinator. Committed to upholding humanrights, democracy, and peace, he also serves as aspiritual leader in the Soka Gakkai International, aNichiren Buddhist Organization. In his free time, heenjoys reading, hiking, and playing frisbee with his two-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd named Keo. ⁜

Melanie Davis (she/her/her)Melanie is an active member of the Clark Countycommunity. She shares her poetry and lends a hand ofsolidarity & allyship when and where she can. She hasraised 4 children with her husband, Joe, for the last 23years in ID, OR and WA but currently the past 5 years asa Battle Ground School District parent. She takes greatpride that her family is part of the great and beautifulrainbow movement that is the LGBTQ+ community andwill always look for good to be done. ⁜

Storytellers

Paul Iarrobino (he/him/his)Paul Iarrobino is the founding Artistic Director of Our BoldVoices. He is also a writer, performance artist, speaker,storyteller, coach, and documentary producer. Paul enjoysvolunteering with older adults, bargain hunting, bicycling,gardening, traveling, and spending time with his husband,Arnel, and their canine son, Cecil. ⁜

Solé Kapralova (she/her/her)Solé is an 18 year old lesbian, currently attending WSUVancouver and is pursuing a degree in Public Affairs witha minor in Public Speaking. She intends to use herdegree to create juvenile outreach programs forunderprivileged youth. She spends most of her free timewriting and reading at various Portland cafés. Solé hopesthat through storytelling and advocacy work she caninspire and positively impact the next generation. ⁜

Stephen Herndon (he/him/his)Stephen is a 58-year-old gay man who came out later inlife at 39. Stephen and his husband Joe have 6 kids and4 grandchildren. He works with queer youth, providingsafe space through weekly support groups. He hashorses, dogs, chickens, peacocks and basically a smallzoo in Camas, WA. ⁜

Rhys Davis (she/her/her)Rhys is a 15-year-old genderfluid sophomore at PrairieHigh School. She came out when she was 14. Shespends most of her time playing video games andDungeons & Dragons and reads poetry at open micreadings. She hopes that her stories will inspirecourageous and kind acts in people, LGBT or other. ⁜
