Uses of Object Pronouns
• As direct Object: Use it after the verb.
• This is Adele. I love her.• It is a horror movie. I like it.
• Note: The subject of a sentence performs the action of the verb, and a direct object receives the action of the verb. E.g. My husband likes mangoes. He likes them.

In Prepositional Phrases: Use it after the preposition (indirect object).
• Give this hat to Jane. Give this hat to her.• He’s buying a bag for his wife.• He’s buying a bag for her.
• In sentences with both direct objects and objects pronouns, the prepositional phrase comes last.
E.g. I want the sweatpants. Can you gift wrap them (the sweatpants) for me?

• When a sentence contains a direct object and prepositional phrase, you can use a indirect
