Control of Food

Before act

Restaurants menus just consisted of the dishes without calorie numbers.

People just ate the food that looked the most appetizing.

No regard for any health content that is in that specific food.

After act

As of 2008, restaurants and fast food establishments are required to have the amount of calories on the menu

This act will help educate people into knowing what is really in the food their eating

Food in Public Schools

People found that food in the school systems could definitely have a contribution to health risks

The “School Nutrition Association” wants to lower the amount of high fructose corn syrup and trans fats.

Eventually they want to fully do away with this

As a result it will help students make better and healthier choices in their life.
