(b) If so, the details thereof along with the total population of persons belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs)/Scheduled Tribes (STs) and Other Backward Classes (OBCs).

STATE MINISTER OF HOME AFFAIRS, SHRI R.P.N. SINGH

1. Yes Madam; A Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) is being carried out throughout the country in a phased manner

2. Once the field work gets completed, the data of the SECC will be uploaded at the National informatics Centre server.

According to Decennial Population Census 2011

(i) SC = 16.6%, (ii) ST = 8.6%
