Steps to success
The skill of describing is more important than the place being described.
There is more to description than recording the visible (five senses)
Use interesting adjectives
Use accurate punctuation, spelling and clear paragraphs
Model paragraph:
The pearlescent moon peeked out from behind the dark and gloomy clouds; illuminating its surroundings and slyly winking at the forest below. Small scurries of animals could be heard among the choking mist that filled the forest.
