OASAS Certified Programs with Veterans-SpecificTreatment Serviceslf you are a veteran or if you know a veteran who is in need of treatment for an alcohol or drugproblem, there are OASAS-certified treatment programs where you can go for help. \Mile allOASAS-certified programs offer quality care, the following programs have dedicated a portionof their resources specifically to serving veterans. ln most cases, these are components withina larger program that focuses on meeting the needs of veterans or active military personnel.Many of the following programs provide services that are geared specifically to healing thetrauma of service and combat exposure in particular. ln many instances these programs arestaffed by veterans themselves and are structured to support an environment of respect anddignity that focuses on military values and culture.
