CLARK, Antony P. (1924 – 2009) Antony Philip Clark, of Oakville, Ont., died peacefully on Monday, Feb. 9, 2009 at Wyndham Manor in Oakville. Tony was in his 85th year. Born on March 11, 1924 in Wembly, England, he is prede- ceased by his father Stanley, mother Amelia Ann and broth- er John. Tony is survived by his loving wife Elaine and his children and their spouses: Nicki Clark and Tom Lyall of Strathroy, Ont.; David Clark and Jenny Pitt-Clark; and Trish and Ron Carlton, all of Oakville, Ont. Dear brother-in-law of Betty Bennett, Barbara and James English, all of Peterbo- rough, Ont. Also mourning Tony's passing is his stepbrother Brian James, also of Oakville. Grandpa Tony will be missed by his grandchildren Jordan Lyall and Shawn Green; Casey and Aidan Lyall; Joshua and Adam Clark; Spencer and Ro- byn Carlton. He will also be missed by his great-grandchil- dren; Cole, Ryan, Travis and Abby Green. Tony and Elaine were married for 58 years and during the early years of their marriage, they shared a love of skiing and lived in Saint Sau- veur, Quebec. After moving to Oakville, they took up sailing and enjoyed many wonderful sunny days with their family sailing on Lake Ontario. Tony was a long-time member of the Port Credit Yacht Club. An inventor, innovator and artist, Tony had an accomplished career in manufacturing and sales with Kodak (England); Bibby Manufacturing (Montreal) and B & K (Toronto). He was also president and founder of Cast-Tec Ltd. (Oakville). In his later years, he enjoyed sail- ing in the Bay of Quinte, photography and watercolour paint- ing. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Friday, Feb. 13 from 6 to 8pm at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Re- ynolds Street, Oakville, Ont. At home, following a ten month illness, Murray passed away peacefully in the pres- ence of his family. Beloved husband and best friend of Gwen and loving fa- ther of Alison and Lauren (Gordon). Son of the late Gertrude and Robert Woodcock of Peterborough. Brother of Wilfrid (Peggy) Woodcock, Dorothy (George) Brabin and Barbara Clark. A graduate of Engineering from Royal Military College, MBA and Law from Queens University, Murray practiced law in Peterborough until 1981 when he moved to Oakville and joined Kil- born Engineering where he became VP and General Counsel. With a life long love of sports, he continued to enjoy playing golf and hockey in his retirement until his illness. A special thank you to our friends for their sup- port during these past months.
