ACT OF SPIRITUAL
COMMUNION
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all
things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You have already come, and unite
myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from
You. Amen.

The Month of May honoring Mary,
The Mother of God
Traditionally, the Month of May, is dedicated to Mary, the
Mother of God, among Catholics throughout the
world. During this month, may we pray for peace in our world, in our nation, in our
hearts, and in our homes. The scriptures of the New Testament reveal Christ’s time on
this earth as a Mission of Peace. His Blessed Mother, has given us a powerful
prayer - the Rosary - to bring us the peace we need to sustain our balance in life. May we pray the Rosary faithfully, especially
during the month of May, asking for God’s special graces and for His gift of peace for
all of us.

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE GUIDELINES BELOW:
It is necessary that we observe the following protocols to protect all members of our community. Those who are ill or whose health is compromised in anyway, and those who are uncomfortable in public settings should remain
at home. Remember, the Sunday obligation has been dispensed. Below are some of these restrictions and considerations.
• Live streaming will be continued for the 8am daily and Sunday 10:30 am and 12:30 pm Masses.
• During the early phase of reopening there needs to be a clear communication that the elderly and all those
with compromised immunity should stay home.
• The obligation to attend Mass is lifted until further notice. Those who are most at risk and must remain home
as well as those who take care of them.
• Protective Measures must be observed. Everyone is required to use nose/mouth coverings at Mass and in
Church and stay 6 ft. apart from one another. The church does not provide masks.
• The Holy Eucharist will preferably be received in the hand. Those who feel they must receive on the tongue
can do so after everyone has received Communion. Communion will be under one species.
• Except for “family pods,” the sign of peace may be done by bowing or another show of fraternal affection
without physical touch.
• Holy Water fonts and Baptismal Font are drained and empty.
• There will be no printed bulletins, newspapers, music programs of any other type of literature in the church.
• The Sacrament of Reconciliation will continue as usual to be offered on Saturdays from 8:30 -10:00 am, or
by appointment
• Since social distancing will greatly reduce the number of persons that will be allowed into the church
attendees will be ushered in on a first come first serve until we are at capacity.
• We would ask that people do not congregate outside the church after Mass.
• Set cellphones to airplane mode so we do not drain WIFI broadbands being used for live streaming.
• There are no other parish activities or meetings - except virtual ones until further notice.

Planned GivingWhat do bequests, life insurance gifts, charitable gift
annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and life-time giving have in common? They're ways you can pass on
your Catholic Heritage, Faith, and Love for (insert parish name). Contact the Office of Planned Giving for more
information, 305-762.-1112.
“I am praying for them…” (John 17:9)
Prayer is the foundation of our Faith and the foundation of Stewardship. Pray in good times and in bad. Prayer is always the first best option in any
situation, not just the last resort. Pray for friends and family and for those that don’t treat you very
well. Pray to give praise, to thank, and to ask God for help. Pray to see what God wants you to do with
the gifts He has given you.
Please contact the office to list your upcoming birthdays so that we can celebrate it together as one parish family.

INFORMATIONCatechesisDear Catechesis family,
I wish I had definitive information for you regarding the scheduling of sacraments, but as you know, we are in a state of limbo as far as a timeline from our local and state officials with regard to Miami-Dade and Broward county openings. One thing I can say with certainty – both of our First Eucharist and Confirmation ceremonies will not take place until rescheduled by the Archdiocese of Miami.
Please be assured that the moment I have information about this I will share it with you along with registration for 2020/2021 Catechetical year.
In the meantime, take advantage of the email resources that are sent to you each week from our office as they are geared to enlighten both your child and families faith formation.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.
During the month of May, I pray that Our Lady consoles you and your families during these challenging times, and that God blesses and protects you all.
