HANDBELLS AT MASS Appreciation is expressed to our St. Charles Handbell Choir which rang the Advent hymns, “Lo How a Rose E’re Blooming” and “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” for the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday, December 7. Several new members have joined us this fall but we still have room for more. If you would be interested in learning how to ring handbells in the new year, please contact Tim Robison at the Church, 446-3118.

CHORAL MUSIC AT THIS WEEKEND’S MASSES We thank our Parish Children’s Choir for singing their Advent anthem, “The Waiting Carol” by world-renowned children’s music composer, Helen Kemp at this weekend’s 9:00 a.m. Mass. The choir will also be singing for the 6:30 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve, with additional accompaniment by the St. Charles Handbell Choir, and violin. Thanks also to our Adult Choir which is singing one of the most well-known choral pieces written for our time, “E’en So, Lord Jesus, Quickly Come,” written by the noted composer, Paul Manz. This piece was written with prayer and hope as his son lay near death in the hospital in the early 1960’s.
