Cuomo Governor of New York State NYS State Capitol Building Albany, New York 12224 Dear Governor Cuomo: We the undersigned are deeply concerned with news articles pertaining to New York City Police Officers being sent in to secure the apartments of Ebola patients with nothing more than a paper mask and rubber gloves. We owe a duty to our brave first responders to protect them from exposure. They have not been properly trained or equipped to secure such premises. We are therefore requesting that the state strategically set up emergency response hazmat teams to perform this function. The safety of these brave men and women is paramount and we request that immediate actions be taken to achieve this goal.
